We had a wonderful stay at Happy Life Grand. The room was clean and super comfy. The location was a big plus, i can easily get around and explore the city. We also spent an evening at their sky bar, good cocktails, great ambience, and city views were fantastic. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Ho Chi Minh city.

I’m back here for the fourth time, and yep, this hotel remains my top recommendation for a business trip to Ho Chi Minh City. What I love most is how it perfectly blends work and fun. The location is perfect, and having a gorgeous skybar right upstairs is the ultimate way to wrap up the evening. Since everything you need is just a short walk away, it’s super easy to get things done and still have plenty of time to enjoy your post-work hours.

Overall, I had a good stay, but I was quite caught off guard at check-out when the staff claimed a fork was missing from the room. We were given bananas as a welcome amenity, and since we didn't request room cleaning, I had placed the empty plate and fork out in the hallway on the first day. I assumed a housekeeper had naturally picked it up. Although they didn't charge me for it in the end, the whole situation left a bitter taste in my mouth.
