Spent New Year’s Eve at the hotel the hotel was lovely, room very clean and staff friendly and welcoming, Sky Bar roof top pool had amazing views of the city, however the pool was difficult to get in and a lot of surface water made the area slippery. The staff did turn the lights off while we were still in the bar area finishing of our drinks and we had to walk down the emergency stairs in the dark while the proper stairs are being refurbished. Was scary.

The hotel itself is a little old and tired but it goes with the city! The bar on the roof was always out of wine but the other bar which is just one floor below always had wine but they never would take a bottle or two up which I didn’t understand. Hotel in a great location, didn’t matter which way you walked when you came out of the hotel all directions had something to offer.

The rooms were clean and surprisingly spacious, with a large, comfortable bed and a bathroom experience that felt refreshingly novel. Our particular room was windowless, but thoughtfully arranged for comfort. Breakfast was well executed, offering a generous buffet with plenty of appealing options. The rooftop pool, while on the smaller side, provided a pleasant retreat, complemented by a bar that offered a refreshing vantage point over the city below.

Room located by metal stars to the roof bar. Constant foot traffic up and down daily. House maid daily service didn’t come 2 out of the 5 days we stayed. Left 1 day early for a different hotel. Bed was very uncomfortable and low to ground. Shower was inside a large awkward bathtub, which flooded the floor during use. Very slippery and dangerous. Food was very subpar.

Banging and construction noise in the surrounding rooms every morning. I complained, but two days later they were at it again. The conference room is used early with loudspeakers and music — the rooms have zero soundproofing. If you like staying out late and sleeping in, good luck. The sky bar only opens in the evenings, so you can’t even enjoy a cocktail by the pool during the day. No clear signage out the front, making the hotel hard to find both day and night. The toilet kept blocking up. Staff don’t speak very good English, which made ordering room service and basic communication pretty difficult. 1 star — would not stay here again.

The room was great. Very clean and well service by Mrs Moon who bought us fresh bananas every day. The breakfast was excellent and the eggs cooked so well by chef Trung we delicious and very quick. Staff in the restaurant John, Ruby and Mo couldn't have been nicer. Had a few drinks in the sky bar of an evening overlooking the market square which was a great way to spend a few hours.checkinf in was a breeze thanks to the reception staff Kane and Trixie and last but no least a big shout out to Jade who went out of her way to help me sort out my phone and made the best Vietnamese coffee.
