Beautifully appointed room and the hotel was clean and lovely. Staff was helpful and efficient. Located within walking distance to the train station, shopping and dining and even Himeji Castle.

This is our favourite hotel in Himeji. Convenient to the train station, local shops and bus transportation. Rooms are comfortable and staff are professional and helpful. The property is aging a bit but still retains its old elegance and glamour. The breakfast venue on the top floor with its chandeliers and view of Himeji Castle is a highlight. The breakfast selection is exceptional at this price level. I especially like the public bath. Although small, it is elegant and relaxing, The attendant is always polite and helpful. The hotel has three main entrances and a system of elevators which takes a bit of getting used to but I have gotten to see this as part of the charm of the hotel. During our last five day stay, our breakfast location was moved to the main hall downstairs due to rennovations on the top floor. I am looking forward to the results next time I visit this hotel!

Great location , very close to JR and Sanyo stations . The rooms are fairly spacious in comparison to typical hotel rooms in Japan and the real value for money . The breakfast is also excellent with a variety of options to choose from . All in all , a great choice if your are in Himeji

The hotel is located 3min from the train station, it is just to the left when you exit the north side of the station. The check-in is efficient but could be a little more welcoming, I cannot say anything negative about the check in process but it is a little cold. We had a nice room on a higher floor with view of the city and the castle, it was very clean and well maintained. Somewhat old fashioned but it had style. We did not use the restaurant at it closed at 8pm and we like to spend quality time over a meal and have a good chat. The menu looked good. There are so many restaurants within 10min walk. The breakfast was very good, choice was extensive. Again everything was clean and very well maintained, staff were great. I think one of the best hotels in the city.

Beautiful and very clean property with a great location, near both the Shinkansen but also the Sanyo-Himeji line. Near lots of shops and restaurants, Lawson’s attached to the building, and a shopping mall very close by. The hotel restaurant was amazing and the included breakfast was nice as well. Rooms are a very good size for 2 with lots of luggage. Will stay again!

I was excited to stay at this hotel as it looks great from the outside. The rooms are well appointed, but when I went to experience the bath, one of the main things that I was excited about, they cited a tragically outdated policy that has no basis in the 21st century as a reason to deny my entry. I have tattoos. I would definitely not recommend this hotel based upon their antiquated discrimination of guests who don't quite fit into their "standards". The push by the government for hotels and spas to rid themselves of these policies obviously had not made its way to Himeji. It was extremely surprising to be turned away from something that I had paid for and did not receive any form of reimbursement for.

Wonderful hotel and location

The hotel was super clean and a very good standard. The breakfast was excellent and of a very good standard. My wife had an omelette made for her just like in Kyoto (Kitchi Kitchi). Would recommend this hotel for it's location, food, service and cleanliness.
