The condo was lovely! However, we did have a serious problem with the elevator which Beach Properties gave low priority to. My wife is handicapped and required use of the elevator to get to and from our 5th floor condo. The elevator completely shut down on a Thursday afternoon while we were up in the condo. I called Beach Properties and a young man answered. I explained the problem and that it was very important to get this fixed quickly because of my handicapped wife. He said he would reach out to the building managers. I asked him to do this today and call back with a status. He agreed. I heard nothing. The next day, Friday morning, the elevator was still not fixed and I had still heard nothing back from Beach Properties. I called them again at 9 a.m. and spoke to a woman who was in the office. I asked what status she had on the elevator, and she said she had not been left any message at all about the problem by her coworker! I explained the problem and the situation — again — and she said she was juggling many things but would try to get a hold of the building property manager. I emphasized that I needed to get this fixed and called back within a few hours with a status, and if we had no elevator on Saturday we could not leave the building to check out! She agreed to do this. However, by late afternoon I did see that the elevator was finally working, but I had not received a call that it was working or ever received a call about it from Beach Properties.
