Beautiful room, but heating system thermostat did nor work. Set it at 69 and went to dinner, came back and the room was 85 at least and the heat still coming out. Complained at the desk, apparently noone on duty to reapair, Was offered another room but it was easier to open the balcony door, and shut the system off.

This property is way overpriced for what you get. This is an old Hampton Inn with fresh paint. The Trailborn Group model seems to be to purchase older hotels in great locations, paint them and charge the traveler double the market price. I am convinced that many of the reviews are fake. I have never seen so many 10/10 reviews before let alone for such an average offering. At least Hampton Inn offered a basic hot breakfast! Don't be a victim of this pump and dump scheme by a group of Ivy League ex bankers.

Wonderful stay!

Everything about Trailborn was wonderful! The staff were kind and helpful, the room and the decor all around are earthy and natural, and I love that they use Grown Alchemist products. The fire pit was so nice to sit around and they're justice playing through out, as well as radios in the room. They're is a light breakfast with granolas, fruit, cereal, and yogurt. We didn't dine at the Supper Club behind the hotel, but we tried their biscuits and had a cocktail and it was great! There are also cute bikes available to ride but we did not get the chance this time. Trailborn is a beautiful hidden gem, and we can't wait to come back and to also try the other locations out west.

Anniversary weekend

My husband and I visited for an Anniversary weekend. It was close to trails and hiking while being adjacent to downtown Highlands. Loved how environmentally conscious they are.

Quiet, peaceful. Good place for relaxation. Close to downtown shopping and dining. But, all advertised amenities were not yet available, somewhat of a disappointment.

We just loved our stay at Trailborn Highlands!! The staff (I wished I could remember her name)was so kind and helpful. Her smile was so inviting!! We will come back and stay longer!! Thank you. The room was so clean. The beds were so comfortable. The showers had plenty of hot water. Loved it!!

Great spot for family, couples, or groups!

Excellent stay for a wedding in town; the room was cozy and well-appointed. Loved the little touches like the gas logs (easy to use!), the tea, the bathrobes. The bed was incredibly comfy and the room felt clean as a whistle. We'll be back!
