Car parking offered but not available due to car park being full. Alternative to park on road, not so good as location on steep hill and nothing avaiable outside. Very basic accommodation, shower screen would not close. Provided were ith one hand towel and one bath towel. Breakfast, ok, bacon roll. Overall very basic facilities and obviously in decline. Would not recommend.

Good stay

Super experience. Free parking, friendly person behind desk Easy access late at night as attendant on at all times. Beds very comfy. We didnt have breakfast, but not sure what there is. Great stay.

The Abby if fine for contractors on a short stay. Hot shower, comfy beds and the TV works. Short walk into town for pubs and eats. But the hotel seems to be very noisy and you can hear above, below and to the sides whenever anybody walks around or opens draws etc.

Its our 3rd stay here and will be going back again later this year. Weve been staying here whilst visiting family and wouldn't stay anywhere else now. Breakfast is absolutely yummy, our 7 year old says it's thr best shes had! Staff are friendly aswell.

Wasn't asked if we would like breakfast. The room was Very basic but clean and tidy. Stuff left about, a vacuum in the hall. Chairs piled up in the supposed eating area, we left without breakfast it didn't look very inviting. The two chaps on reception were nice enough

Cheap & cheerful

Central location. Bacon sandwiches for breakfast. Staff really friendly. Basic but you get what you pay for. It did the job for an overnight stay.
