Location is great and a lovely stay and hotel. Suggest pre booking restaurants in you’re looking to dine in the local area. Some variety in breakfast would be good however totally adequate.

Biwako Grand Hotel: Business-friendly ryokan with free breakfast and free WiFi.
Beautiful hotel right on the lake, easy to get to, staff were very attentive and curteous, and the private onsen room was spectacular. It was authentic and pristine. Very much enjoyed :)
