We were a little surprised that we were not staying in the actual castle to start with but the room we were allocated was brilliant and had all the odd/old characteristics that the castle would have had. The staff were very attentive - could not be faulted. Would certainly recommend.

The castle view room was lovely...very spacious, nice bathroom and the bed was a bit small but comfortable enough. Our evening meal in the restaurant was quite pricey but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast was equally excellent. We loved hearing about the history of the castle with the complimentary tour...great idea! We visited as a couple to celebrate my partner's birthday and were not disappointed thank you!

A unique experience with nice friendly staff and an excellent restaurant. We had a fabulous evening dinner, preceded by drinks in the impressive drawing room in the heart of the castle. A very relaxing place to spend a couple of nights. With lovely grounds and a good variety of birdlife. (Plus the resident Peacocks!)

Beautiful castle and location. Our room was lovely and we had a good experience dining in the atmospheric castle dining room. The decor of the bar and lounge were also very atmospheric, just as you would expect from a castle and enhanced the experience. The grounds were good to explore. We joined the "history tour" of the castle and this was a very enjoyable and informative 40 minutes, including going up to the tower.

A hidden gem for any medieval castle hotel fan. We’ve stayed at many castle hotels and Langley Castle stuck out for its authenticity and unique details, especially the 14th century window niches. Make sure to reserve a suite with a window niche like Greenwich Room. Dinner is a nice occasion with drinks starting in the drawing room before descending to the dining room for the meal. Free castle history tour in the morning.

Amazing experience to stay in a castle. We stayed in the Radcliffe Suite, so spacious and grand. The bathroom was huge! With a sauna! The bed was super comfy. My husband and I had dinner from the fine dining menu and our son was able to order from the relaxed dining menu which was great. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was equally wonderful, and my husband was very happy to see kippers as a menu choice. All in all we couldn’t fault a thing and really enjoyed our stay. The only bad thing was we only were able to stay one night.

Beautiful Castle, fantastic food and good service. We adore Castles and this is a proper one and given it was 27 degrees when we stayed the air-conditioning in the room was an unexpected benefit. Our room was beautiful. The only criticism I could make was that the arrangement of meeting in the drawing room 30 minutes before dinner was a bit of a shambles with no one offering us a drink or menus for 20 minutes, then collecting us to take us to our table only for them to say they hadn't meant to take us and would we sit down again. However, this didn't distract from an amazing stay, and the food was really top draw.
