Delightful stone cottage on Hadrians Wall in Northumberland National Park

A warm northern welcome awaits you in our comfortable well equipped traditional stone cottage on our working family farm in Northumberland . Situated in the peaceful Northumberland National Park we have fantastic views and you may enjoy wonderful walks, and bird watching from a Hide at Greenlee Lough Nature Reserve on our land. There is a log fire to keep you cosy in winter, and a patio where you may relax and enjoy the summer sun.
A brand new Shaker kitchen with fitted dishwasher , new gas hob and new electric fan oven have been installed in February 2024.
The Sunday Times Best Walks in England starts here. During your stay here you may visit the new award winning National Park visitor centre at The Sill. The pretty market town of Hexham is only 25 minutes away, and Durham , and the north east coast are in easy reach. Two exceptional National Trust properties , Wallington and Cragside are a pleasant drive , and all of the main Roman sites are only 5 minutes drive away.
