Rent, men sørlig morgenmad

Hotellets placering lå fint med et besøg til Domæne. Indtjekning og udtjekning var nemt. Morgenmaden var mildest talt en sørgelig oplevelse. Pulveræg, fryse rundstykker, industrikaffe, som har været varm for længe. Vi valgte at stoppe halvejs i processen, da det ikke var oplevelsen værd.

Helt fint til prisen

Vi valgte Aiden, da vi skulle i Boxen, og blot have et sted at overnatte. Det passede perfekt til os. Værelset var ikke så stort, men god seng og rent og pænt. Vi savnede et køleskab, men det kunne vi leve med. Morgenmaden er inklusiv, og selvom kaffen er filterkaffe, manglede der ikke noget. Fint udvalg af brød, pålæg, æg, bacon, frugt, juice og ingefærshots. Ja, det ligger udenfor byen på en mark, men for os var det nu fint nok. Det er i gå-afstand fra Gødstrup Station, så køb en billet hertil, hvis du kommer med toget. En Taxa til Boxen koster ca. 250.

Et ok ophold, men ikke billigt

Det er et moderne hotel med en robot i modtagelsen, der var dog heldigvis et menneske til at hjælpe, da robotten kom til kort ved indtjekning. Indretningen er meget stram/“kold”. Der var kun redt op med 1 dyne/pude, selvom vi havde booket værelse til to. Ekstra dyne/pude lå i en opbevaringspose, så det var høflig selv-opredning. Det var koldt i værelset, men man kunne heldigvis selv regulere varmen. Gulvet i badeværelset var også meget koldt at gå på, og det kunne man ikke ændre. Der manglede en gulvmåtte til når man havde taget brusebad. Sengene var alt for bløde. Morgenmaden var helt ok - også et fint udvalg. Men spisesalen var tæt pakket af mennesker denne morgen og der var kø ved de forskellige “stationer” da de fleste gæster åbenbart kom til morgenmad kl. 9. P-plads foran hotellet er for lille og det er bøvlet at benytte p-pladsen bag hotellet, da man så skal gå udenom hele hotellet og der ikke er nogen form for gangstier.
