Quiet place in interesting city
Nice town, nice host. Heat worked well in winter. Be careful driving in however, since many of the streets are narrow. Fun city overall, and I recommend this place.

Fabulous! Excellent host. He upgraded us because we were traveling in the low season and nobody was staying in that apartment. Sparking clean and he gave an excellent dinner recommendation to Kritamon. Would stay again.

It is too far from downtown. And it is hard to find the address. The apartment it is too small . Just have a bathroom and the wood stair is very dangerous

Lovely authentic cretan rooms.
All of the rooms are very well kept.authentic decor. Lovely outdoor area with a nice central pool to relax around. Very helpfully hosts, walk down the hill to the village archanes for traditional food and hospitality. Would definetly stay again at villa archanes.

Lovely accommodation in an amazing village
Three of us booked a two bedroom apartment and we were so happy with it. Everything was clean and comfortable and we easily made it our home away from home for three nights. It was however difficult to find initially with Google maps sending us through the tiny - and I mean extremely tiny and steep - paved streets of the village. But that is because it is a traditional village and this is what you get. We didn't use the pool as the weather had changed by it looked delightful. I would not hesitate staying here again, for the hospitality and comfort of the rooms
