The Retreat at Hempstead is nestled on five acres in quiet Hempstead, Texas. The property includes a beautiful newly renovated 4900 sq. ft. country home - THE RETREAT HOUSE and a 2160 sq. ft. event venue - THE BARN @ THE RETREAT (requires separate event fees). Whether you are looking for a girl's weekend getaway, family vacation or reunion, birthday or graduation celebration, weddings and anniversaries, scouting weekend or small group/corporate day or night retreat, we have the location just for you!

The Retreat House has 6 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and kids/teen sleeping and lounge room. Accommodates 24 people (up to 28 with sofa beds and futons). Large game room includes bar with seating for 4, living room area, dining table seats 14, breakfast room seats 6, and kitchen bar seating. The multi-purpose room with mounted flat screen television is ideal for meetings and presentations, wellness and yoga, arts and crafts.
Enjoy the outdoors bug free on the 2000 sq. ft. screened in patio. Sip and Soak in the Hot Tub and Bar area. Lounge by the fireplace, cook on the grill, dine al fresco or just relax with a good book or take in a sunrise/sunset.

Take a walk on the nature trail, cast your luck in the stocked catch and release pond, take an afternoon nap in one of the hammocks, and end the night with a campfire under the stars.
