Gorgeous, cosy former fisherman's cottage in the heart of Porthleven.
Set in the heart of this popular fishing village which is a renowned gasto-hotspot, this bijoux cottage is an ideal place to chill and immerse yourselves in Cornwall. Porthleven is a wonderful place to just stay put and soak up the authentic Cornish fishing village vibe and even has its own beach. It's ideally situated to explore the surrounding sights like the Lizard peninsula, St Michael's Mount, St Ives and some of the best beaches in Cornwall.

Upstairs, there is a spacious kingsize bedroom with a super comfy memory mattress. On the ground floor is stylish sitting room with a woodburner at its heart. There are two sofas for stretching out after a day's walking on the Coast Path which is on the doorstep. There is a smart tv if you fancy a Netflix binge with a glass of wine.
Downstairs is the cosy bathroom with bath and overhead shower, sink and heated towel rail. The kitchen/diner is fully equipped for rustling up some delicious meals with the fabulous local produce. There's an electric four ring hob, oven, fridge freezer, Nespresso machine and dishwasher. On the way to the sunroom is the WC. There is access to the back alley with a bench. Being a former fisherman's cottage, there are relatively low ceilings down below and some elderly and infirm guests have commented on the steepness of the stairs.
Dogs are welcome and Porthleven is very dog-friendly.

Perfect Cosy Christmas Break

A lovely little cottage, perfect for a cosy festive break; the location is close to the harbour and the amenities. Inside it is very cute and with lots of quaint touches, including a wood burner and stone walls. It was very clean, and there was every you needed inside. Probably not ideal for anyone with mobility issues, with the small staircases - The bathroom and toilet are on the lowest floor, but this is part of the charm of a fisherman's cottage.
