Oh boy… I really hope this doesn’t make me sound spoiled compared to the other reviewers who have stayed here. I feel like most people who write lengthy reviews usually had something specific happen to them, so bear with me. This hotel area is fine. Dahlonega is a quiet town. It’s easy to get in and out of. Front parking is minimal. There is plenty of parking in the back but what is unfortunately about having a room in the front but parking in the back, their elevator is broken. So we had to climb 4 flights of stairs in the back but only 2 flights in the front of the building. The rooms need redone. Badly. Very outdated. Shower head with weak water pressure, the water from the sink with spider, dirt in the corners of door frames, and stains on towels. Cleanliness was manageable to an extent I guess. Except for the dead stink bug in the corner. This is where the specific concern comes into play. When we checked in, she gave us the wrong room number. Luckily no one was there but the room hadn’t been cleaned, beds undone. Out of all the jobs that are required of a hotel, a fresh and correct room is the first of their job. Leaving us with a terrible impression from the start. I thought the bed was ok, but some of my family woke up feeling uncomfortable. No padding on the mattress at all. The chairs were fine. I didn’t want to sit in the fabric chair. Tv was fine. The screen was dark and we couldn’t adjust it. I didn’t try any of the other items. not great but not bad.

Rooms are very clean and comfortable! I highly recommend this hotel and will be staying there again in the near future! Just half a mile from Town Square yet convenient to many other things to do. It’s quiet, too.

I thought that the room was pretty clean and the free breakfast was very good for a small motel. On the other hand, the parking lot was very small and difficult to pull in and out of. Overall, for the price it was a decent night's stay. Not perfect but I'd stay there again if I was in the area.
