Would highly recommend for a couples weekend. The room, bed was comfortable and clean. Loved that there was a good fan in the room as I'm used to sleeping with one. Adorable place and grounds with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. Close to town so it's a great location. About the only suggestions I would make would be to add a little more lighting in the bathroom & shower and a small table in the sitting area. We had a great time and hope to go back at Christmas.

The room was clean, bed very comfortable but the facility was not what I would have chosen had I seen it first. There was no coffee pot in the bedroom, bare minimum of space for toiletries and furnishings were much older.

It was a good stay. I would had preferred to have better water pressure in the shower, access to a microwave and coffee pot around the clock, some sort of cabinet, shelves or drawers to put away clothes, and a TV in the room, but it was a good stay. Clean and quiet.

I really enjoyed the peace and quiet. There were other couples and families that stayed on the property, yet we felt as if we were the only ones there. The sweet lady that stays on the property was very helpful by telling us about a few restraunts we should try and other fun things in the area.

My 2nd stay was great! I really wanted to go to the pool but the weather was not cooperating. Its a really nice pool, so I'll have to come back!! I stayed in a different room this time, it was just as nice and cozy Only complaint, the pillows weren't firm at all. So I had to use all 4 of them for comfort. Kellie is always so welcoming, we chatted during lobby hours for a bit.

What an absolutely pleasant surprise to see the lodge after driving down the hill. It’s nestled in the woods and is just darling. Inside is beautiful; welcoming and warm, clean and our host kelly was the best. Loved chatting with a few of the guests in the morning over coffee. Beautifully curated antiques fill the common area. Our room upstairs was just what we needed; nice and cool, super comfortable bed with fabulous sheets that felt luxurious! I can’t wait to go back.

Very unique property, lots of southern charm and nice decor. Our room was very hot and did not cool down. There is no thermostat for the room so what ever temperature they want you to bake at is what you are stuck with. There was a security light outside of our room that shined in the window all night. It would cut off and on every 30 seconds. Very annoying. Had there not been other guests I would have slept in the hallway where it was cool and no security light…. The mattress took firm to a whole other level. Needless to say we got very little sleep. Maybe the other rooms cool better but I would not want to be in this room ever again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and super friendly staff. If I could rate it more than 5 stars I would. Peaceful and quiet, with cute rooms and pretty antiques in the lobby. Definitely will be coming back!
