We LOVED Elk Manor. The cabin is so cozy, and the surroundings are amazing - being right on the river was beautiful and peaceful. Also a short drive to town and some great hikes and fishing spots.

The host stayed in constant communication. There was a strong little squall of winds that came through while we were there and knocked out power a couple of times. The host stayed in contact. Beautiful cabin and location, right on the water. If ever back in this area, we would stay again. This is a perfect cabin for a group wanting to do a little fly fishing! The pictures describe it very well.

We had such a relaxing time. The sound of the water and being able to fish right off the deck was perfect. The cabin is beautiful inside. Was clean and the bed was comfy. Had all we needed to cook inside and outside on the grill. We definitely be going back.

Great weekend getaway

Cozy and quaint cabin right on the river. Did some fishing in the backyard and also at Smith Creek in nearby Unicoi State Park. Quick drive from the cabin into Helen for morning coffee and meals. Great place to get away for a few days.

Location is great, the river in the back is awesome. But the property is not well maintained or clean, is dusty everywhere and a lot of things broken around including the kitchen pots.

Great house on the river

Beautiful place to stay. But you need to get better mattresses. Both bedrooms. All of us hike and it makes for a long day with no sleep . We would love to come back for a longer stay if the beds were better. And a mouse chewed up my sons backpack. Thank you again

Great place to stay!

This cabin is so nice! We loved the deck overlooking the water. We enjoyed using the fire pit. There is no washer or dryer here. I overlooked that when I booked. There is no curtains for privacy in the bedroom upstairs which is weird because it faces the road. Easy short drive to town. Overall, it was a really good place to stay.

Great location and beautiful cabin

This was a wonderful stay and the cabin was prettier in person. It was right off of the river and the outdoor sounds and views were exactly what we needed for a restful vacation. Check-in was easy and everything was exactly as described. Great place to stay while you’re at Helen!

Pretty Perfect!

We loved our stay here. We enjoyed the open floor plan and the amazing views. The boys loved that the river was right there and was easy to access to fish! The grill and the fire pit were great as well. The location was great too! You were a little way out of town but was easy to get back and forth to town. The only thing we thought needed improved was the amount of kitchen utensils (only a couple serving spoons, no spatula, and no can opener). We cooked a lot during our stay. They need to add curtains to the upstairs window for use at night and we wish there would have been a washer and dryer. But the cabin was beautiful and very comfortable! Very peaceful and relaxing a well!
