Enjoy excellent fishing or ice fishing on the Historic Chippewa Flowage! Private setting directly on the ATV/UTV/Snowmobile trail, 1/8 of a mile from the Chippewa Flowage South boat landing, walking distance to miles of public land hiking and snowshoeing trails. Plenty of parking for boat, UTV and snowmobile trailers.

Snowmobile Getaway

Everything was like brand new and clean. It was convenient to get on the trail but didnt consider fuel options ahead of time(Big musky resort didnt open until 11 if you needed fuel close by). We found the Big Chip while searching for a place with a hot tub which it doesnt have but we were glad to have found it anyway and would stay again. It has even inspired us to want to build our own place similar someday!

Week in the woods

This property was spacious and all of the windows gave it a tree-house feeling while nestled into the woods. We saw deer on occasion too. The kitchen was well stocked and even had a griddle for pancakes! Everything was very clean and new. Boat launch to the flowage is nearby. The large balcony was perfect for morning coffee or evening snacks. As with anywhere, remember to pack bug spray. Thanks to the host for a great stay.
