When I book a hotel with a full breakfast that’s what I expect. I found coffee & a couple nasty plastic wrapped muffins. No staff, empty & unplugged fridge, no plates/bowls/silverware, & empty waffle batter dispenser.

I reserved a suite and even paid extra for early check-in, but the room wasn’t ready until an hour after we arrived. We were told it was still being cleaned. When we finally got access, the “suite” had a 12x14 inch hole in the wall, used tissues under the pillows, red stains on the comforter, and used hair ties left in the bathroom. While we were at the front desk reporting these issues, another couple was there because the manager had given their room away—they had literally walked in to find strangers settling into their room. To which the manager responded, "oh yes, we moved you to another room." With no apology or explanation to them. Unacceptable. Thirty minutes after requesting new sheets and cleaning service, I went back to the front desk only to find that the manager had completely forgotten about our situation. Eventually, we were moved to another room. It was somewhat cleaner, but the towel shelf fell off the wall when I grabbed a towel, and the toilet lever was broken (my husband had to fix it just so we could get through the night). The next morning, there was no breakfast provided, even though it was clearly advertised as included. Overall, this stay was unacceptable. The rooms were unsanitary, poorly maintained, and the management was disorganized and unresponsive. I would strongly recommend avoiding this property until major improvements are made.

Very nice staff! Parth and Nancy were warm and welcoming. Hot tub was honestly filthy and there were bottle caps and soap wrappers and a shampoo container by the tub. It was fairly cool. The beds were real flimsy and even compared with other Super 8s completely subpar.

Maddy... The new owner of this Hotel is literally a breath of fresh air. I have stayed at this hotel in the past, and it is so much better with the new owner. I loved that they had a pool and hot tub and that they were both kept up so nicely. Also they are very attentive to keeping up the continental breakfast during the whole duration of the hours of operation. Bottom line is I wouldn't stay anywhere else but there when I go to Hayward. Toilet had not been cleaned at all. Bed was hard as a rock. The drug sales in the adjoining room were booming all night til 3am due to no secure entry. At least 20 visitors to the room throughout the night all staying about a minute and slamming the door both ways. AC was loud. TV turned on but wouldn't play any actual channels. Coffee maker but no coffee cups in the room. The ice machine didn't work at all. Breakfast was waffle batter, brown grapes and mini muffins. Really couldn't have been worse.

Hot tub needed filtered and only two of the six jets were working. No ice to be found on the premises. Towels were dirty. Hole in the wall were door opened. Smelled of must and smoke.

For the price we paid the room was not worth it. I noticed immediately that the floors had not been mopped as there was leftover dirt and shoe marks on it. There was a used bar of soap on the sink and hair in the tub and counter. The room had been renovated, however, the trim was haphazardly painted. The headboard was supposed to light up and it did not. In fact, there was only 2 working outlets and that was for the ac and the other was for the tv. The bedding was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.
