About this property

Close to Silverwood, Pet Friendly

If privacy, peace, and relaxation are what you are looking for, then look no further than Channa Acres! This 600 square-foot guest house is an apartment located within a large pole building on the back of our property.

It's not the Ritz, but this “cabin-themed” guest house is very clean and private! There is a queen bed, a sofa couch, an inflatable full size mattress, and a Graco crib upon request. Extra sheets, pillows, and blankets are provided. Possibly best suited to families due to only one proper comfortable bed. There is a washer and dryer, complimentary laundry pods and dryer sheets, a microwave and toaster, a fully-stocked kitchen including dishes, pots/pans, and a stove/oven. Spices, oils, salt and pepper, etc. are in the cupboard for you. There is a regular coffee pot and also a Keurig with ample complimentary coffees, teas, and sweeteners provided for you.

Firewood, kindling, and roasting sticks are included. Bring your smores' and enjoy a "glamping" experience!

Pets are welcome at no charge. We do not have a fenced yard, so bring your own crate or kennel if you wish.

We are 8 miles from Silverwood down a pretty side road, and we are centrally located between many lakes including Lake Pend Oreille, Coeur d’ Alene Lake, and Hayden Lake.

There is a covered parking garage area for your car. Sometimes our boats are being stored on the other half of the garage.

You may self-check in any time after 3 PM with keypad entry to the guest house. We respect your privacy, so you may never see us. You will drive by our main house to get to the guest house, but you will not bother us at all. Please don't worry about coming and going any time of day or night as you please. We are a pretty chill couple of empty-nesters, so nothing much bothers us. All we ask is that you leave the place tidy, although we do not ask you do any laundry or any house cleaning! Enjoy your vacation!

We had a wonderful time! We travelled with our 2 dogs to have a quiet get away and a place to stay while we visited the indoor zoo nearby. We were met with home made apple walnut bread and jam, as well as fresh chicken eggs which were all wonderful. The property is very clean and quiet and perfect for a quiet getaway. The hosts are also very kind and attentive. Would definitely book again!

We were so thrilled to find this place. It was cozy and clean and had everything we needed. They even accommodated our 3 large dogs which can be challenging to find good places to stay that allow us to bring them along. It was fun seeing their animals on the property as well. We will be back again.
