Extremely clean old pub has been renovated (with some design flaws). Very friendly staff and comfortable bed.

Small room but comfortable beds. Lots of stairs to carry bags to gain access to upstairs rooms. Enjoyed historical stay in old converted pub.

Shower floor was dangerously slippery Internet didn’t work TV didn’t work. Not even free to air Pub closed, no food no drink Only renting rooms. AVOID!!!

Nothing special but nothing wrong with either. The room was fine although the bathroom was rather cramped. Staff were lovely to deal with very friemdly and laid back as were all the locals we incounted. Good value for money if needing somewhere to crash on a long journey but would not go out of my way.

When looking at property, it indicated that the rooms were soundproof and that there were no pets. When I arrived, the manager told me that every room was a pet friendly room, the whole property was pet friendly. The room was also definitely not sound proof, I didn't sleep at all as there were trucks driving past all night and I heard every single one of them. I think they need to update their details on the WOTIF property page.

Bathroom nicely renovated and clean The room was large, carpet stained obviously through patrons not caring. The only unfortunate thing was the quilt cover was dirty, so I didn’t want to use the quilt. I can see that they are trying to renovate and create a nice place to stay. It’s getting there. Would I stay again? Yes, most likely., as long as the quilt cover was clean.
