This property has potential. BUT, owner & staff need educating on how to operate better. Our unit first unit was horrible, mould on ceiling in bathroom, not clean, stains on mattress. They did however change us to a slightly better unit, but this to needed a good clean, including mattress. Some basic operation skills would help incredibly. The premises have huge potential, there's just lack of knowledge on how to do so.

A fair distance off the road. Rooms nice and comfortable. Only one thing I didn’t like was , only access to unit from one door. Which was around the back . Wasn’t great when it was raining . Apart from that , very happy with my stay.

The staff were very helpful and the unit was clean and tidy. The shower was really good. Some of the gardens were a little untidy. Our bed was a little hard and the door locks were annoying as they automatically locked when you closed the door so you had to take the keys whenever you went outside.

As previous guests have already mentioned the outside of the property needs tidying up, and carpet stains removed. Inside the modern freshly tilted bathroom was very clean and good quality towels were supplied.

Even though the rooms have recently been decorated, there was an infestation of ants. Also, the smoke detector had been removed to decorate but not replaced. NOTE : The location of the baseplate on the wall was inappropriate and would seriously delay detection.

Good place to stay!

Good place to stay on the edge of town. The room appears to have been refurbished very recently so everything was new. The room was equipped with a large TV and excellent air conditioning. All in all a good option if you need a motel in Hawera.
