Better than a hotel

We went to Hartford to check out the Yard Goats, do some brew hopping, and to see some museums/sites of Hartford. Accommodations were excellent, fantastic location, walkable to most places, or short drive to wherever you need to go

Lovely east coast apartment vibes

Parking was easy, and right beside the property. The little apartment was charming and clean, and full of character. There were numerous places to sightsee, eat, and go out to for drinks in walking distance. There were lots of thoughtful touches throughout the apartment.

This is a pretty good place - a former apartment turned into a hotel suite, so it is big with a full kitchen. It is pretty close to downtown (walkable in nice weather). And while it is not a normal hotel when I emailed to ask for extra towels they were waiting at my door when I got back from a trip. It isn't perfect - it is a older place that overlooks a parking lot - but I thought it was good for the price and Hartford.

The rate was low but not low enough to return

The apartment is located in the core of Hartford city. We encountered angry homeless people shouting in the streets as you entered the building. The building is a fortress with two simple locks to unlock. As you enter the apartment you smell the fresh paint in the walls. You will find that the noise never cease. You can hear loud Bachaca music from the cars that go as well as the thundering exhaust sounds from motorcycle 24 hour/7. The apartment is covered with thick paint layering that time has passed. One window from the bedroom overseeing the city is shattered. You question yourself if it was from someone wanted to get in the building or carelessness of the manager. At 10:30pm , the door knob moved and someone tried to get in our apartment. Luckily we put a chair on the door and no incident happen. We tried contacting the manager but it was a challenge on their part to help.
