An exterior door to building 6 would not close. This is a major safety issue for your guests as non key carrying individuals can enter at any time. The bathrooms door hinge was falling off and a massive dent/crack was in it. It was a hollow door and looked like someone kicked it hard. I made sure to call immediately upon walking in and report this to ensure I would not be blamed. I was told “oh we will write a ticket”. How was this not seen when the room was cleaned after the last guest? Additionally, the entire hotel smells of cigarettes and marijuana. Save your money and stay anywhere else. The only reason I am giving it 1 star is because you cannot give 0.

Breakfast was okay and could definitely use some improvement, especially considering the cost (the hot food was lukewarm and not that tasty but it did the job). Coffee was good. Plenty of parking. The room as a whole was spotless and well appointed, but the dining table and chairs have seen better days and could do with being replaced. Kitchen had plenty of dishes, utensils, and cookware; full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, and electric stovetop were great to have. The living room area furniture wasn't very comfortable but did the job. The couch didn't have any back or side cushions so I used the pillows from the bedroom to make it more comfortable for lounging. Bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was small and didn't have a vent so steam from a hot shower just floated around and condensation was an issue, especially because it was too cold to open the windows and vent the room. I stayed in a queen suite. Great value for the price, but the $250 incidentals fee was not indicated when making the reservation and canceling when I was informed of the fee meant losing the $400 I paid to reserve the room. I was on a budget and couldn't afford to lose that kind of money. On a positive note, the incidentals fee was returned to my bank account within an hour after checking out. They don't accept cash. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. If you are a Hilton honors member and book through a third party site, you will not get any points for your stay.

We checked in around 10 to get a decent night sleep before our flight and the fire alarms went off at 2AM and our entire family was up for the entire day ruining our first day of vacation completely and throwing my kids off schedule for 2 days!

Large rooms that are overall nice. Lobby is clean and nicely furnished. Unfortunately they recently discontinued the airport shuttle so it's not as convenient as it was in the past if you're flying out of Hartford.

The staff was friendly. However, when checking in, we learned that the hotel had discontinued the shuttle service to the airport. When we booked, we called the hotel to verify the 24/7 shuttle. We were told it was discontinued on January 1. We were never notified. This was the only reason we booked this hotel the night before our flight. We ended up ordering a Lyft ride, which was an additional expense we hadn’t planned on.

The first room they gave us was never cleaned. The second room they gave us the mircowave stopped working after one use. The toilet flushed slow like it was blocked up. No dish soap or sponage to wash the dishes. They did bring it when i requested. There was less the half a roll for the papertowel. There was 250.00 deposit. The breakfast not good. For a suite the room was small. Overall was not happy with the room. I would not go back.
