Wonderful staff, attentive, friendly and on point. The one meal we had there was terrible, perhaps we ordered the wrong food!

Staff were excellent. However room had mould and no windows. Second night we were moved to another room with less mould, however there were rats running around in the ceiling ventilation ducts all night.

Great location in the old city

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay here for 3 nights. Located in the old city, it is walking distance to major sites and surrounded by restaurants. Staff are very welcoming and attentive. The rooftop bar and restaurant is sensational for a relaxing drink with views to the lake. Highly recommended as a good value for money choice.

Lovely Hotel

Pros: Hotel Staff & location
We enjoyed our time at the Tirant Hotel. Great location and the staff were extremely helpful. We had one of the suites which was nicely decorated, plenty of room and clean.

Nice hotel in a great location.

Pros: Location, Breakfast at the rooftop restaurant every morning...lovely way to start the day. Lovely room with a balcony and view
Cons: Very difficult to get a consistent temperature with the shower. It was either cold or scalding hot. Food at rooftop restaurant a little over-rated
Location: Old Quarter Lots of coffee, restaurants, shopping, markets
Staff were very welcoming and informative on our arrival.....Even asked about the car service from the airport. We were very impressed with the view and aspect of the rooftop restaurant/bar on the 13th floor

Fantastic

One of the best places we have stayed in. Wonderful and friendly staff. Very clean, and the food was amazing. Reception was first class, they couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend this hotel to any one. Thank you. Tony & Dave

Great hotel in the Old Quarter of Hanoi

We stayed in this hotel 3 times over the course of our trip to Vietnam. The staff were always helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean, although the beds were hard (this we found seems to be quite common in Vietnam in all the hotels we stayed at). The bathrooms were clean and there was plenty of hot water (not always the case in other hotels we stayed at). Definitely visit the rooftop restaurant for the best view of Hanoi. The breakfast bar was also super, with a good choice of Western and Eastern foods. The hotel was close to the lake and very central to lots of things to see in Hanoi.
