From the moment I arrived, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. They greeted me with a drink and a little dessert, which was delicious (and not too sweet!). What really made my stay stand out was how helpful and kind the staff were. I have a dairy allergy, and they made sure I had breakfast options I could eat every day without any stress. Booked this hotel after reading the positive reviews but think it has been over-rated. Not a bad hotel but not in the range of 8-10 ratings. I stayed for 3 nights at level 8, the topmost level. While room was spacious, it was not sound proof. Noise from traffic and people could be heard before 6 am. I also found ants in the room - in the bathroom, bedframe, side table. As it was my first time to Hanoi, I thought it would be safer and more convenient booking an airport transfer from the hotel. The quoted price was 18 USD but when I paid at the hotel, it included a 3% surcharge for credit card payment and an exorbitant exchange rate (hotel staff converted from USD to VND on the spot), which ended up with me paying almost 20 USD! I later realised that a Grab trip from airport to the hotel is around 300 VND (12 USD), making me feel that I have been scammed! In summary: Good - location, staff service, spacious room Bad - Cleanliness, noisy, bad currency exchange rate

Notre séjour au Royal Premium Hotel a été exceptionnel !! L'établissement est idéalement situé, à seulement 3-4 minutes à pied du lac Hoàn Kiếm, ce qui en fait une base parfaite pour explorer le dynamique quartier ancien de Hanoï. Il y a de nombreux cafés et magasins à proximité servant de délicieux plats vietnamiens, et le bus touristique de la ville se trouve également à seulement 5 minutes (au lac).

The property is in a prime location, just a short 3-4 minute walk from Hoàn Kiếm Lake, making it an ideal base for exploring Hanoi’s vibrant Old Quarter. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is excellent, with little traffic noise in the evening, making it perfect for a restful night. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast, especially the Pho, was also great! Additionally, the hotel staff was extremely helpful in booking our Halong Bay tour and arranging a taxi service to the airport. Highly recommended!
