My second time staying at Royal Premium Hotel and I absolutely love it. The location is perfect, being right in the middle of the old quarter, but away from noisy bars, which makes it quiet for sleeping at night and is within walking distance of major sites. The rooms are nicely decorated and are cleaned every day, and the minibar items are cheap and restocked every day. The WiFi is reliable and very fast. All of the staff that work there are very friendly and helpful, especially Ms. Anna, who always comes to chat to you at breakfast, and every other time she sees you throughout the day. I lost all of my bank cards in an accident, and Anna helped me out by arranging for a money transfer instead, which was perfect, and meant that I didn't have to cut my holiday short. The second time I arrived at the hotel very early in the morning from Ninh Binh, the staff allowed me to check in early so that I didn't have to hang around all day. The selection of food available for breakfast was very good, and they have a good cooked breakfast selection too. If you are looking for a bit of luxury and hospitality, then you won't be disappointed in this hotel. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I return to Hanoi.

The hotel is in a great location right in the centre of the old quarter and is within walking distance of most of the sights. It's also very close to the hop on hop off bus stop which is a great way of getting around. The staff we very friendly, especially Anna who came to greet me at breakfast every morning, and when I checked out all of the staff members on duty came to say goodbye to me at the door. The beds were really comfy, and the room was well cleaned every day. They also offer a laundry service, and I received my items back within a few hours, and the cost was very reasonable compared to doing it yourself at a laundrette. There is a good variety of items available at breakfast as well as a a la carte menu, and it is all good quality food.

Ce petit hôtel est situé en plein cœur de la vieille ville. Il y a des restaurants, des boutiques de vêtements et de souvenirs à profusion juste devant la porte, et le théâtre de marionnettes sur l'eau est à quelques minutes de marche seulement. Nous avons eu une suite extrêmement propre, climatisée, avec un balcon donnant sur une rue animée, mais le bruit de la rue ne nous a pas dérangés. Le petit-déjeuner satisfait à la fois les palais orientaux et occidentaux, et le personnel est très attentif et prêt à aider pour toute demande. Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Fortement recommandé.

As mentioned, the hotel is in the heart of the bustling Old Quarter. It really is superbly located if this is what you want. We had a balcony room, which was very nice, both room and balcony spacious. Breakfast was extremely good value. All staff we met were friendly and kind. You can leave your luggage safely when going on trips. Laundry was cheap at c.£1.50 (less than €2, $2) for about 2kg, returned same day.
