Amazing Hotel in the heart of Ha Noi

We loved our stay at the Golden Moon! It’s in a great location within walking distance to practically anything we wanted. Lily was amazing and helped us book a trip to Ha Long Bay, as well as provide airport accommodation. Everyone we interacted with was extremely kind and helpful. We will definitely stay again if we return!

The basics - the room was clean, the bed was fine, the shower had both pressure and hot water. The shower door leaked so I had some puddling on the bath floor. The service - outstanding! I used the hotel's airport transfer and was greeted at the end of the alley and escorted to the door. Inside I checked in and was served tea and fruit while l waited 10 minutes for my room to be ready. (I arrived st noon and check in was at 2.) Since I had a 7 am tour the next morning, the usual 6:45 breakfast didn’t work. The chef started breakfast with great vegan options at 6:30 so I could eat first. I was blown away! Is the property dated? Yes. Is there defferred maintenance? Yes. It just didn't matter. I felt so genuinely taken care of!

The refrigerator and air conditioning in our room did not work. The manager was the rudest hotel manager I have ever encountered. After two nights, the staff replaced the refrigerator because it was not functioning. I asked about compensation since some of the room amenities were not working. Instead of addressing the issue, the manager accused me of making things up just to get compensation, claiming that I always brought up the problems in the evening. We were on vacation and spent most of our days outside, not sitting in a small hotel room. It is the hotel’s responsibility to ensure that the room amenities are working properly, not mine. I was offered a room change to get working air conditioning, but since we were out all day, there was never a convenient time to move. Instead, I had to make do with an extra fan that was placed in the room. Everything else was fine, but the manager’s way of handling a guest complaint was extremely disappointing and left a negative impression of our stay.

寝るだけなので、狭くてもいいと思い予約しました。客室は比較的きれいでした。wifi環境もまぁ良かったです。スタッフさんはみなさん親切でした。冷房はがんがん効きます。朝食は無料ですから、あれで十分です。私はそれほど朝食べないし、コーヒーがあれば十分なので。でも、レビューでクレープをお勧めしていた人がいたので食べました。美味しかったです。フレンチトーストもおいしかったです。 深夜着だったので、ホテルで空港の送迎を事前にお願いしました。お願いしておいてよかったです。 周辺もたくさんお店がありますし。 隣のカフェも美味しかったです。 でも、隣の雑貨屋さんは要注意！交渉はしましたけど。子どもさんがいたので子どもの養育費になるならと思って、買っちゃいました笑 コスパを考えたらここは結構いいと思います。 （ホテルと関係ないけれど） USドルを持っているとハノイはめちゃくちゃ使えますし、ホテルの支払いにも使えます。ハノイはクレジットカードの方が使いづらいです。特にアメックスはほぼ無理でした。古いUSドルは断られましたが、比較的新しいドルなら喜びます。ドンに換金しなくてもドルでいけると思います。計算が面倒な人にはおすすめしません。使えるカードはVISA・マスター・JCBの順です。

各階2部屋のこぢんまりしたホテルです。 そのぶん、スタッフの目が大変行き届いていて、顔をみたら何号室か把握してくれているし、何か困るとすぐ笑顔で助けてくれます。 部屋はベッドが広々、大きなスーツケース広げられるのは1つまでかな。 シャワーは水圧 ものすごく清潔さを求める人には向いていませんが、日本人で海外に何度か行ったことある人には十分です。 入口と、最上階（朝食会場）が階段なので、足腰に問題がある人には向きません。
