the lobby is breathtaking - really beautiful. the rooms are lovely too. my only disappointment was around the pool area - meant to be one of best rooftop pools in Hanoi - and for a 5 star hotel I expected a lot more - there is tacky plastic vines/plants around the place, it needs paint, bare lightbulbs, murky/cloudy roof with no real shade anywhere, and a lack of day beds. for 5 star I'd expect more.

Great hotel close to the French and Old quarters

Pros: Ambiance, staff, rooms, comfort.
Cons: They're on the ball here.
Location: Near the old and French quarters. Lots of fantastic places close by to get Pho, Bun Cha and experience Ha Noi.
The staff here were great, rooms were clean and tidy and the food was good also. Nice and close to the lake. Be aware that if you want a quiet room as a lot of festivities happen around the lake opt for a room that does not have a lake view. That said, our lake view room was still quiet enough for normal enjoyment. The hotel is well decorated, well appointed and very comfortable indeed.

Good location and very good customer focus

Enjoyed my stay at this ideally located Hotel. Staff were very attentive and responded to any requests I made. Very clean, fresh And comfortable. Great service at roof top pool and bar.

Beautiful hotel....

Cons: Please fix the lift! The lifts were not on automatic so idiots would press both which meant others were left waiting. Automate them please.
I loved this hotel. The room was perfect for what I wanted and was in a great location for the things I wanted to do. Staff were excellent and nothing seemed too much trouble. I was not a big fan of the buffet breakfast inclusion as invariable I didn't eat enough to get value. although others with a big appetite would and there were a few of those people. An a la carte menu would have been a better value option.

Lovely hotel

My daughter and I treated ourselves to a couple of nights at the Apricot whilst on a five day visit to Hanoi. The hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of the old quarter within walking distance of most sights. The views from the roof top pool are marvellous and the rooms were luxurious and very comfortable.

Cons: Speed up check in and check out.
