Unfortunately the staff damaged our luggage on the way out. They insist on taking it to the taxi but i wouldn't recommend this. As it was our last touch point with the hotel it has slightly ruined the stay

Hotel was lovely and the facilities were great, the staff were extremely helpful sorting Sims and taxis etc. within easy walking distance of the train street and old quarter and equally as easy to access the museums and other attractions. The restaurant is good but more expensive than you would generally pay in Hanoi and the sky bar make nice cocktails and have nice beer on tap. All around great experience.

Awesome start to our first visit to Vietnam!

Even before we got on the plane to Hanoi, Jane Vuong from the Aira Boutique Hotel in Hanoi was helping me plan our trip. Not only was she the one who arranged for our pick up from the Hanoi airport to Aira hotel, and back to the airport to fly to Danang, but also a 9 person limo van transport from our hotel in Sa Pa back to Hanoi when I was not staying another night at Hanoi. She even suggested a better departure time so that we would not arrive too late for our transport to Ninh Binh. My husband was shocked at this service above & beyond!! The VIP tickets to the water puppet show she arranged was at the front desk when we arrived. The seats were 2nd row in the very middle! She checked to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. I love to stay in nicer boutique hotels overseas whenever possible - we are seen as true guests instead of as a room number. Although we arrived past 10 pm, a hotel staff member was waiting outside to open the car door with a smile & help with our luggage. The young man at the front desk was aware of our late arrival & checked us in with his very good English. Beautiful front lobby. Our room was surprisingly roomy especially at this price point at such a beautiful hotel in the tourist area in a major city. Very clean & the decor was tasteful throughout. New luxurious bedding, soundproofed room with blackout drapes! Well maintained with SUPER A/C, plumbing &fridge. Safe & convenient but not too loud location on edge of Old Quarter.

Amazing service, amazing room, amazing people. Stayed there for my husband’s 50th and they went above and beyond. Organised a cake, sang happy birthday, free welcome drink and mini bar then upgraded us to a bigger and better room at no cost. Can’t wait to stay again

What a beautiful hotel. Only stayed one night. Got upgraded free drink at the bar. After communication with the hotel from Jane for a hotel transfer, I found her to be fast at connecting and organising. The pool, bar and restaurant are top notch. Staff super friendly and welcoming. Great location too

This hotel is comfortable option in Hanoi. The staff, in particular, were incredibly friendly and accomodating. We were delayed heading to the hotel from the airport and they kept checking-in with our driver to ensure that we were OK. We only stayed for one night and did not get to enjoy all the amenities, but overall the hotel is nicely decorated but a bit outdated with a moldy/musty smell throughout. The breakfast buffet also did not impress us and it was the first time we did not like the coffee in Vietnam. Overall a nice option but could use a few updates.
