Such a friendly boutique hotel!
I am so glad I chose Hare Nua for our family trip to Easter Island. From the pickup at the airport to the drop off at the end of our trip, the service was top notch. Maria, Sebastian, Claudio, and the rest of the staff were amazingly kind and gracious, helping us out whenever we needed it. The hotel is perfectly located along the Main Street of Hanga Roa, within walking distance of the whole town, including many restaurants, shops and grocery stores. The rooms were very comfortable, with great a/c and wonderful water pressure in the showers. The grounds are beautiful, with lush landscaping and a nice shady pool and hot tub. The complimentary continental breakfast was always delicious. I would highly recommend Hare Nua to anyone visiting Easter Island!

Sebastian and staff were excellent hosts. Place was very relaxing and well maintained. They had given attention to every detail to make the place unique and authentic while providing all the comforts. A/c in the room did not work. Took all day to fix. Had to turn off at night as it blasted on to you in bed. Description on Expedia not even close to reality. It is not near the beach, there are no beach bars (or bars of any kind), no onsite spa, no snack bar/deli, no tv in the lobby. Expedia should review the hotel description online as people are making purchasing decisions based on erroneous information. The room and facilities are very basic, certainly NOT luxurious. The “designer toiletries” were in glass bottles and the shelf in the shower was falling off the wall - potential for broken glass in the shower if dropped. Breakfast was disappointing and seating cramped with adjoining tables almost touching. Room at the front faced the street where there was constant traffic noise and loud music until after 2am. We booked and paid for three nights but, as it was so bad, we left after the first night and went to a good hotel. We did not get any refund.
