Taking the bad with the good

Did hardly sleep. The mattress is very uncomfortable. I was not special really about the wrong who is Ben ain’t gonna say that it was killing, but there were some spots that were purposely probably overlooked due to the fact that they were hidden dust and roaches.

The facility was very clean and nice. The ladies at the front desk were so friendly. The room was clean and comfortable the only thing I was not happy with was outside the loud smell of marijuina but otherwise the trip was wonderful I do plan to stay there again next trip…

Good and cheap hotel for a night

The hotel itself was in pretty decent condition. The room was cozy but it did have a slight mildew smell when you first walked in after a little while you couldn't smell it anymore. The bed was clean and the room itself was clean. The ac worked and there was hot water to bathe with. We were staying just one night before our cruise the next day. The pool was running not sure if it was open as we did not get in. The place felt safe and I would stay here again.

Fine for a short stay

This was a fine place to stay outside of New Orleans. It was easy to get to and very cost effective. Unfortunately the pillows were really tiny and uncomfortable and the room had a very musty odour. It was very clean but the smell wasn't great.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Let me say, we LOVE this chain, just NOT this location. We've never left a bad review, & we stay with them a LOT! Breakfast, what breakfast? I inquired and was told they had toast, mini muffins, & coffee. I asked if they had a waffle maker & she said no, but we do have oatmeal. She said the hours were 6-9:30. Well, we went at 6:10 to see what they had & the doors were LOCKED! You couldn't even get coffee! There was no one around, but a bell to ring. I'm sorry, at 6:10 I shouldn't have to ring to be let in! Nothing was ready! I was getting ready to head out the door and some guy came up, it looked like I woke him up. He didn't say a word to me, and I left. We go into the room last night & there was such a musty smell & I thought it would dissipate with the air on, but it only got worse. I didn't even want to breath the air! I head over to the bed to put my phone on the night stand and was horrified by what I saw on the sheets. I have no clue what it was, but there were more of the same spots under the covers. Needless to say, I slept in my clothes! When we got there, the only vehicle in the parking lot was the workers, and when we left this morning, only the night workers truck was there. Guess that should have been a clue last night to STAY AWAY! We booked through Hotel.com, so I called them to cancel & was told they need to call the hotel to get approval, and they came back and told me we couldn't because the manager wasn't available to offer a refund waiver. 😭
