Great place to stay in

I came to see U2 concert and this was the nearest hostel. It's just 5 minutes walk from the train, the service was great, the room was very clean and comfortable.

I complained about 3 drunk men one night being so rude coming in at 3am talking yelling laughing eating, they did nothing to help me out move me etc. The next night the 3 guys came back talking about f*cking a girl then began to watch a porno making groaning and inappropriate noises. I wake up to find 2/3 men completely naked, once again I complain very upset this time and all the lady did was say it was my fault for booking a mixed room. I'm fine with sharing with men. Not fine with how they acted. Also disgusted in how the reception acted saying I could have a free night but stay in same room and to ring her when it happened again. No thankyou. I want atleast 2 of 3 nights refunded as I was not taken seriously at all. Don't stay here If you want to feel safe.

All in all a great hostel.

The hostel is very convenient for the s-bahn and getting around Hamburg. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was clean and very comfortable. Great! The hostel itself was peaceful, but as our room was over the entrance, it did get noisy at times with people returning from nights out and chatting/laughing. It didn't bother us but, if you are a light sleeper, you might want to ask for a room away from the door or wear some ear plugs. The kitchen is handy and there is a vending machine with essentials should you need anything. All in all a great hostel and we would definitely stay again.

Great Location

Hostel located 2 mins from train station to take you wherever you may need to go. Fist time we have stayed in hostel and not sure what to expect but was pleasantly pleased and surprised to find comforts of home. Community kitchen had whatever you need to prepare meal / snack. Hostel provided bin / labels in refrigerator for your items. Well kept and clean with daily maid service (much to our surprise). Staff was pleasant, and very informative regarding train schedule / service and was available when needed.
