This property is conveniently located and parallels the main street so it is a short walk to the Halls Gap shops but still nice and peaceful. It was a little small and quite dated, which was probably reflected in the price. It had everything we needed but we would likely choose somewhere different to stay next time we’re in Halls Gap just to give ourselves a bit more room to spread out as we had a few days of inclement weather so did spend more time indoors than we planned.

The lodge has a comfy bed with a heated blanket and amazing views, as well as decent amenities too. Though it looked like the room hadn’t been vacuumed, the kettle had old water in it, and we only had a quarter of a toilet roll left. Despite the age of the place and the minor disappointments, it was a good 1 night stay with a convenient location.
