4 / 5
It is mainly a tour group hotel than an exclusive five star resort that we had hoped for. It is away from the main city and any restaurants. You need a taxi to go for breakfast and meals. Even the dining option which I we confess did not use is divided into time slots to cater to tour groups and the heavy rush.
Room was big and had a balcony and beautiful views. The staff were helpful and explained that nearest place to have food is a forty minute walk hence we skipped breakfast and opted for a brunch in the beautify city centre.
The decor appear dated although the website states it had a serious refurbishment, it may be that we were in an older section.
Five star choices are limited in Gyeongju as will need to accept it. Nothing special but very manageable for a 2 night stay
