Sandpiper is a low density three story complex. Its unique V shape building and shared common area walkway in front of each condo lends to a friendly get to know your neighbor atmosphere. Family reunions, large groups of people traveling together and individual families choose this property often. The tropical courtyard, seasonally-heated swimming pool (The pool is generally heated from March 1 to November 30, weather permitting) and grilling areas give Sandpiper an ambiance all its own. It is a highly requested property and has the most repeat guests.

Great location

The condo was the perfect size for our family of 5. My kids enjoyed the pool and being so close to the beach. The only negative I will say is that we stayed during the week of Easter and the pool got really crowded, but we just waited until later in the day to enjoy it and spent the day at the beach. The condo had every cooking utensil we needed. You will need to bring your own beach chairs/towels. The location was convenient to a Wal-Mart so we could get all of the groceries we needed. This was a great stay, and we would definitely consider staying here again.

My opinion

The area was beautiful, the location and apartment complex was clean and well maintained. However the apartment itself was dated especially the bathrooms have showers sliding panels that were not operative. The cloth on the dinning chairs were dirty and the freezer had food from a previous renter. The tile floors did not seem to have been mopped as there were stains on the dining room area. We are simple people and are not bothered by the lack of updates however would emphasize the bathrooms need some attention. The bathroom in the hallway did not flush properly. Additionally, in the kit hen only had one worn out skillet.
