The hotel was fine, but its undergoing several renovations. We would have had to drive several miles down the road to the "sister hotel" if we wanted to swim in a pool. The problem with that is that the pool being closed is that the closure was not mentioned on the hotels.com website.

We stayed here for 3 nights in April. The room was spacious, had a beachfront balcony and it was just a short walk to the beach. Front desk staff member who checked us in, was friendly and quick. The hotel is going through repair or renovation so the pool and the walkway to the beach were both closed. We walked by the side of the parking garage to get to the beach. The balcony door was old and would not lock from the inside and the door handle was broken on the outside. The staff running the mini-bar and breakfast need to smile and be friendly (you are getting paid to service your customers, don't act like we are intruding into your precious time). Other than these 2 issues, we really enjoyed our pleasant, quiet, comfortable stay, and really enjoyed the beachfront view and location. Parking costs $10 per day.

The check in was kind of a mess, wanted to not include our breakfast we paid for then didn’t want to give us our Hilton honor points “because we used Expedia” then their hotel is under construction and have no pool as advertised. They also tried charging for parking which was supposed to be included. For a room that is $600 a night this is an absolute joke

Hilton was HORRIBLE

One of the worst Hilton’s I’ve EVER stayed at and we have stayed at a lot of them. We paid for a peaceful beachfront room with our children and all we saw the entire time was construction going on that is all we could hear. Then when we checked in- there was Gatorade bottles and trash on the balcony. The room smelt like mildew and the carpet was wet. We had to wear shoes the entire stay. We then proceed to enjoy the beach and on our way down with our three small children a drunk man decides to pee on himself and the elevator we are on. On top of that the check out time is 11AM someone proceeded to knock on our door twice for cleaning service while we were still trying to rest for our trip home! Will NEVER stay again!

Liked the easy beach access , the only thing garbage was taken out of the room because you must requested daily and had to pay for parking daily and pay for breakfast when that came with the rate but not anymore .

My issues began immediately when we checked in. The woman checking us in noted how I used a third party, which my husband and I have used often. She then said I just needed to put in a card to have on file. She kept saying it wasn’t working so I tried a new one after 2 attempts. The final attempt on the new card worked. I was skeptical, so I checked my bank apps as soon as we got in the room. She has charged my cards THREE TIMES for 3 separate charges. One of which was over $500. We went back down and asked her what these were for and why they were all different charges? She tried to blame Expedia, but I said “No, these ALL say Hilton Garden Inn and only processed just now”. She ended up voiding them all, but I was on edge checking my cards the entire week. Definitely be careful staying here! The rooms were fine, but outdated and worn down. The shower was freezing and at best would get luke warm.

I left my pillow in the lobby. When I called to ask if they found, the lady said no. My boyfriend went down to look around and found my pillow in her office next to the desk. I paid a premium room rate for a view of the ocean. I had a view of an empty pool under construction, horrible. I paid expedia a portion of the room charge, then Hilton charged me the full price. They said I need to get my money back from Expedia, the worst experience ever.

The breakfast was really great, on our last day breakfast staff person wasn't efficient as the other days, too may items empty. also it should be free as in Hilton other Hotels. Parking should be free. The hidden extra fees are a scam. Room was spacious and updated. Smelled good, Sheer curtain missing at window. Hall way carpet crimmy and also elevator need to be replaced, laundry staff and staff worked hard and were very polite and alway helpful. Pool was closed for remodel which should Alway be mentioned when booking, we were able to use Holiday inn pool which would have been nice if next door. Public restroom was always clean and nice. Lobby was well decorated, check in staff were great.
