Beach Axis deck is as close to the gulf as you can get in the area. Folks LOVE LOVE LOVE its gulf front decks! Most nearby units have their pool behind the homes, putting the pool between you and the beach. Not Beach Axis. Beach Axis' pool is streetside. Sit on the deck, enjoy the sunset, while most neighbors are behind you! How nice is that! The pool is private to the two sides of the duplex—not shared with any other home.

Plus this is one of my guests' favorite places. Lots of repeat visitors each year! Great price for a recently completed redone beachfront duplex. RIGHT ON THE BEACH. Beach Axis is completely furnished and professionally decorated. It has a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher and microwave.

One side perfect for your group, then book my Beach Axis East and Beach Axis West listings for the individual units. Take one or both, you'll have a great stay either way! For both sides, inquire as I do not (yet) have a combined listing up!

Since we have a higher proportion of guests recently who are new to vacation homes, I wanted to mention a few things that may be new to guests who normally stay in hotels or resorts rather than a private home so they are not surprised. As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, except where specifically noted, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.

This is our 3rd stay at the Beach Axis (1 time was on the east side and 2 on west side). The house and beds are perfect set up for our 3 generation family gathering at the beach. The location is perfect and the house has all the amenities we need. Thank you for a wonderful week full of memories.

Gulf Shores Stay

Our group of 15 had an awesome time at Gulf Shores and highly recommend this property. Our 4 family groups each had plenty of room in their own space. The beach was just a short walk out the back door and when we weren’t playing in the gulf waters, we did spend some time each day in the pool. Even though it was a “shared” pool with the neighbors in the other side of this condo, we never were actually at the pool at the same time. There was plenty of parking space for our 3 large SUV’s. There was also a good area at ground level under the home with a picnic table and chairs and space to store our beach toys with a water faucet and hose for rinsing off our sandy shoes and bodies before entering the house. The kitchen was well supplied for our cooking needs and the washer/dryer was great to have available and was used almost daily. There is a local management company that is available should any problems or needs occur, but we never had a reason to contact them thus I only gave 1 star for communication with them.

First family getaway

Very pleased with property. It was just as advertised. OurA/C stopped working on our second day. Problem addressed within an hour which resulted in a major installation for which the crew worked several hours. Kitchen was totally equipped for any occasion. Front door knob needs fixing but it didn’t spoil my rating. Most of the will we weren’t able to get in the ocean due to wind but that is no fault of the rental. Very satisfied

Great location!

This is one of the best places I have stayed at in the area! Great location; Waves and a few restaurant options right across the street. Not too far from shopping and restaurants. Check in was very simple and the house was very clean! There was more than enough parking as well.

Property was located right on the beach. There were 4 bedrooms with king size beds. Another bedroom contained two sets of bunk beds. The lower bunks were full size beds. Additionally there was a set of bunk beds in one of the king size bedrooms if you had a small child that you needed to keep an eye on. Bonus feature was a wet bar with an ice maker to fill up your cooler daily for the beach. Beach view was great! Nice picnic area underneath house where you could sit and enjoy lunch. If you have a large group staying here, I would recommend bringing a cooler to store your canned drinks free up space in the refrigerator. Good supply of dishes, glassware, and pans available in unit.

Great Beach Experience

Our family had a great time in this property. Having beachfront access was important and the pool was clean and great for the kids. Close walk to a small grocery as well as restaurant and Seafood shop. Overall a great vacation and would highly recommend this property. There were a few things that are needed for a large group like ours. The silverware was lacking some pieces - especially forks. The kitchen overall was very well equipped and the ice maker was an unexpected blessing.

Amazing Beach Location

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The house was just the right size for our extended family. It was also extremely clean and well prepared for our arrival. We loved being able to walk from the deck to the beach directly in front of us. There are no large towers close by so the beach isn't crowded even in peak season. We were able to set up our beach location easily each day - even when we didn't make it to the beach until late morning or early afternoon. The house has everything you need for a family vacation. There are plenty of dishes, pots and pans, cooking utensils, etc. There is a small grocery store across the street for any items you forgot to pick up at the grocery store. The beds in all the rooms have very comfortable mattresses and everybody slept well. The house has parking underneath the unit which is very nice as you can unload your car and take anything directly up the stairs. The outdoor hose by the stairway to the deck also helps keep everything clean from the beach. The on-site pool is only shared with the family staying in the attached unit. It is big enough for both families and kept very clean with plenty of seating. We will definitely be staying here in the future.

It was great being across the street from The Beach House and Ice Cream shop. Seaweed on the beach was terrible. It was never cleaned up.
