Welcome to The Sandlot B, a charming coastal retreat in Gulf Shores, AL. This beautifully designed home is one side of a duplex and is located less than a 5-minute walk from the sugar-white sand and emerald Gulf waters. Whether you're planning a relaxing getaway or a fun-filled trip with family and friends, this home offers the perfect setting.

One of the most unique features of Sandlot is its flexibility. The Sandlot B can be connected to The Sandlot A through an internal door, allowing both units to be rented together as one large home. Sandlot A mirrors Sandlot B with similar bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces, making it ideal for larger groups looking to stay together while still enjoying their own space. When combined, the property offers a total of 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.

Inside, this multilevel 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home features a bright and inviting open floor plan that seamlessly connects the living area and kitchen. Stylish furnishings, coastal décor, and updated electronics create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, cookware, and all the tools you need to prepare meals, and the private balcony, complete with cozy cabana-style seating, is perfect for relaxing and enjoying time with loved ones.

The primary bedroom is located on the first floor and features a king-size bed along with a private en-suite bathroom with a tub and shower combination. Upstairs, you'll find two additional bedrooms. One offers a queen-size bed, while the other is furnished with two twin beds with trundles, accommodating up to four guests. Each upstairs bedroom includes its own en-suite bathroom with a tub and shower combo.

We loved that each bedroom had it's own bathroom. The tub in the Master Bedroom would not hold water. So, we weren't able to enjoy the jets. When we took the sheets off the Master Bed, there was a very large stain on the Pillow Top. Some of the rugs were frayed. But, that's no biggie. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.

Honestly a 5 minute walk to the waters edge at the beach. Such a fun location, very quiet neighborhood. Good assortment of kitchen/cooking dishes. Bring your own ice cube trays and Tupperware! We had plenty of towels and wash clothes. AC worked great! We would stay here again for sure!

The property is very conveniently located to the beach, without being on the beach. Access to the main center, shops and restaurants was excellent. Comfortably fit our group. We sent in a coupld maintenance items and the managers were quick to responded to the messages.

Great location for activities

The duplex is nice. The pics are accurate. The location was awesome, close to the beach, walking distance to good restaurants and shopping. If you want a quite place, this may not be the best location for you. My family was there to explore and be active, so it was perfect.

Poorly configured a/c

The entire top floor had very little air conditioning. The a/c works, just not up in the bedrooms. Made excessive noise too. Since the a/c ran the entire time we were there trying to cool the top floor off, it made that much harder to try to sleep in those rooms. I will probably not stay here again due to this reason.

Close to the beach

This condo is close to the beach and just a short walk for shopping. If you planning on cooking during your stay bring your own cooking supplies as theirs are in short supply (didn’t even have enough forks)! There wasn’t even a dish rag supplied for wiping counters off! The king bed has no support at all, like you will literally sink into the bed and have trouble getting out! The queen bed is rock hard! None of the bedrooms offer hangers or dressers to put your clothes on. There was dirty towels in the washer (not washed when we arrived)! The remotes to the TVs didn’t work when we arrived we had to program them ourselves! This property has great potential because of location but needs a little TLC to details! Overall we had a great stay in the gulf shores!

Overall our stay was great. House could have had a few more supplies. Biggest complaint was that the walls are very thin and you could hear the guests on the other side, especially at night. Loved the fact that we could just walk to the beach!!

Prime location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Sandlot (B). The location was perfect and in very close proximity to all the main attractions. We were just minutes away from the beautiful beaches and The Hangout. The It was also extremely clean. The only negatives regarding our stay was that only one of the four televisions was working and the master bathtub would not drain properly. We made the property manager aware of the television issue and received a quick response back saying that a work order would be put in, but unfortunately they were never fixed before our stay ended.
