About Beyond Blue
Beyond Blue sits directly in the sugary sand in the heart of Gulf Shores’ popular West Beach area. You will be just minutes from the area’s best restaurants and attractions. Guests can enjoy basking in the warm sun or enjoying a meal from the beachfront deck. The stairs lead you right down to the private beach and the Gulf of Mexico.

Inside this newly renovated home is an open floor plan on the first level. The living and dining areas offer great views and the updated kitchen has plenty of room to prepare meals. Did you forget to pack some books? No worries, there is a shelf with a variety of choices to enjoy during your stay. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 remodeled bathroom located on this level, these rooms will accommodate 6 people. Bedroom 1 comes with a queen bed and Bedroom 2 has 2 full beds.

Upstairs guests will find a unique loft (bedroom 3) that sleeps 4 plus a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Bedroom 3 comes with a full-size bed plus 2 twin beds. Bedroom 4 was recently added upstairs and will sleep 2 guests in a full bed. This loft area boasts the best views in the house and even has a small landing space to get a closer look, and maybe even spot some dolphins!

Beach view was awesome we loved it.. rooms were clean spacious..kitchen was nice but I believe it would’ve been nice to had air fryer, a bigger pot cook noodles in.. but other than that the kitchen was ideal located in the beach house.. we didn’t want to leave…Thank you Peggy Bakelman

Nice clean home. Beautiful windows overlooking the ocean. Easy access to the beach in just a few steps. House layout was perfect. It made it feel so much bigger. Super great community area and kitchen. The deck was fantastic. All in great condition. Plenty of seating and all the amenities you would need. Added bonus was how sound proof the house was. Well done.

Quiet and secluded! Love the amount of space at the beach! House had been recently renovated with new kitchen and appliances and bathroom upgrades. Washer a d dryer was great. Possibly use a ceiling fan in living room.

Definitely not worth the amount of money we spent for our vacation. Air conditioner didn’t work, freezer broke, roof leaked and had extra house guest (cockroach). We did enjoy that it was right on the beach but disappointed in the house.

Overall it was a really good house! The two biggest things for us are….location to restaurants, stores, activities, entertainment and location to the beach/beach access, and both of those were GREAT! The ocean views from the living room plus a very quick walk to the beach was so nice! We could be to restaurants or stores within minutes which we also loved!The house itself is good! It has had some updates that are nice, but there are some small, mostly cosmetic issues that need to be addressed! The floor is a little soft in some places as well! I also think a covering or awning over the balcony area would make that sooo nice! Overall it was a great trip for our family of 6! We made memories and had a great time!

Great beach experience

The property was very clean, homey, and comfortable! Access to the beach was great, parking was easy. The driveway is hard to find in the dark so any sort of lighting by the driveway and mailbox would be helpful.

Pros and Cons for Beyond Blue

The house was very clean, it has beautiful views of the beach and Gulf. There’s a very nice kitchen with new quartz counters and appliances. The furniture in the living areas was comfortable and we enjoyed eating at the deck table every night. However there were some negatives— the deck has no roof or awning, limiting the use of that space. The upstairs bedrooms are small with no closets or storage. Also they are hot— AC doesn’t cool them adequately. Climbing over a tall dune made access to the beach difficult and the water was a hike from the house—a long walkover would have helped a lot. There were few basic supplies like salt, pepper, etc, no cookie sheet for heating large items, no beach towels. The outdoor shower didn’t work. We’ve paid this much for a larger house without these problems; unfortunately we would not rent Beyond Blue again.

House is older and not your high end granite and marble type place. If you are looking for that this isn’t it. Having said that… the beach views are amazing and you are right on the beach. It is away from the high traffic condo area so not crowded. The house is super cute, clean, well laid out and very comfortable. Absolutely nothing to complain about. We loved it!

Fantastic Gulf Shores location

Love love love this place. Second time staying here and again had an amazing experience. Location is perfect in that it’s close enough to enjoy all the local attractions, but far enough that you are away from the chaos. House on the beach, enough said!!!

Great Stay

Clean beach house. Nice view and very accessible to everything. No complaints. Only thing i can think of is that you might want curtains on the upstairs windows during the summer to keep it cool up there.
