Second time staying at this Foley, AL location. First time was June 2025. Sign on marquee said Newly Renovated Rooms. Newly a little misleading at least for the building we were in as the room looked exactly the same as the one we stayed in June. Only difference is we were on the 2nd floor in June and we were on the first floor this time. Thought about giving it a 3 star rating because the room (#147) was right next door to the ice &coke room. Every time someone bought a drink, you could hear it falling down into dispenser. Fortunately, was not peak season so machine was not used constantly and you could hear a low humming from the ice machine but got use to that. The bathroom room needed several repairs. The tub/shower top enamel coat (not exactly sure what it's called) was peeling off on the floor and where the soap ledge is. When using the shower, as much water came from spout as there was coming out of shower head so was standing in about a 1/2" with water. The hair dryer was only attached to wall with one screw and was very unstable. The on/off high/low button did not work and stayed on one speed. Had to unplug the hair dryer from the outlet to turn it off. Breakfast was disappointing. No bread for toast, no pastries, no yogurt. Only had waffles, cereal and biscuits/gravy. And the microwave did not work, not that you needed it to heat anything up. But gave it a 4 star because the room was clean, grounds looked nice and the staff was friendly.
