We had an awesome stay at this resort. It was clean and felt very safe, with quite a bit of security. It was relatively small but had everything you needed and made meeting up with a big group very easy. I stayed in what was, I'm pretty sure, the furthest possible room from the main area and we were still only about a 3 minute walk away. The staff was mostly great. The bartenders in the Sports Bar were awesome, however there were some bartenders that could be a bit rude and didn't seem like they wanted to be there at all. The pools were clean, but there was almost never any staff at the swim-up bar which made that amenity pretty much irrelevant. It was also very difficult to find chairs, we would have to lie on towels on the sand most days until people started leaving. The buffet was good, not crazy extensive but we could always find something to eat. We had one vegetarian friend with us who had to eat pretty much the same thing every day. We went to the Dominican restaurant which was VERY similar to what the buffet had, but the Mediterranean restaurant was amazing. There were so many options and it was all really delicious. We were not able to book any more restaurants because you had to get up very early and could only book the same night so there were usually no available options to book. Despite the few inconveniences, the resort was great and if you have a bad vacation here it would likely be extenuating circumstances or you have a very negative attitude.
