About Villa Dushi Arembos; Our lovingly renovated and furnished, detached holiday home of approximately 135 m2 is fully equipped. A real home on vacation! Layout; spacious hall, living room, kitchen, pantry, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a porch on the wind with large dining table and comfortable lounge sofa, a beautiful palapa, outdoor shower and of course a lovely swimming pool of 6x4 meters. The house is located in a small courtyard and has a spacious, beautifully mature, tropical garden. There is parking on site and it is enclosed by a stone wall with steel and wooden fencing. And recently there is also a very comfortable Nissan X-Trail! (7 seater, automatic) Economical, solid and reliable, so forget about looking for a rental car! Holiday home & car are only rented together, at only 55 euro per day for the car. We also pick you up from the airport and offer a late checkout, great service if we do say so ourselves 😁.

The outdoor area is wonderful, the porch on the wind with a cozy large dining table, a nice lounge sofa and ofcourse a large gas BBQ. Modernly furnished, with comfortable furniture in calm color tones. The living room has a smart TV with firestick, you can watch endless TV from all kinds of channels worldwide, as well as films and series. Since we prefer to be outside, the TV has never been used ;-) WiFi works excellently and has good coverage throughout the plot.

All three bedrooms are furnished with luxurious box-spring beds of 90x200cm. In the master bedroom they are arranged as a double bed, but can also be separated from each other. In the 2 smaller bedrooms they are separate from each other. If you prefer to use it as a double bed, you can indicate this to our manager before arrival. He will then ensure that the beds are put in a different arrangement and covered.

The luxury kitchen has a Nespresso machine, milk frother, toaster, blender, sandwich maker, convection oven, microwave, induction plate, large fridge / freezer and much more. The utility room houses the dishwasher and washing machine, large cool box for the beach and so on.

There are both 220V and 110V connections throughout the house. Adapters are also available. This allows you to charge (suitable) devices such as a telephone charger in a 110V socket. WiFi is great, very stable so working from "home" is very much possible.

About Kaya Arembos; a cozy, colorful courtyard with all former defense homes that were sold in 2020 by the Dutch government. Surrounded by tropical greenery, numerous butterflies, birds and hummingbirds. You can hear the prikichis chirp as they fly by, really enjoy!

About Grote Berg; a very nice, safe and quiet neighborhood, wonderfully located on the wind, nice and central in the middle of the narrowest part of the island. Close to the airport and Willemstad, but especially very close to the most beautiful beaches on the island! Our favorites are Portomari, Cas Abou, Daaibooi and Kokomo and a little further to Westpunt you will find, for example, Grote Knip, Lagun, Kalki and Piskado. You can swim to your heart's content even with the turtles, sunbathe, snorkel, enjoy fantastic diving and enjoy all other water sports.

Grote Berg is named after the Grote Berg country house, which is still there, so not after the large mountain on the route from Willemstad to Westpunt. Although it is a quiet residential area, there are supermarkets and nice restaurants a short distance away. In the district itself, within walking distance, is Bali where you can enjoy delicious Asian and Surinamese food. Next to Bali is a very nicely decorated outdoor cocktail bar, Tabu, and an ice cream parlor next to it. Just outside the district you will find De Buurvrouw and Landhuis Daniel. There are so many nice places to eat or drink. With less than 10 minutes in the car you will find a unique spot at Willibrordus. Here you can eat at Williwood where they have the famous Kabritu Burger, stop at the flamingos or view the art of Nena Sanchez in Landhuis Jan Kok!
