Bad smells and Bad service

Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our stay despite all the good reviews. The first room that we were given reeked of cigarette smoke. It was not subtle, so we walked into the room and then directly back out to the front desk to request another room. The woman at the front desk said that it was likely someone in the hall because she gave us a non-smoking room. We explained that there was no smell in the hall and it was clearly in the room. She, for reasons I can’t understand, seemed very skeptical that we could smell this in the room and reiterated that it was cleaned this morning. The room was cleaned, but someone had very obviously smoked in the room. With hesitation and zero apology, she said that she only had a room on the first floor left. We said that would be fine. Though, we came to realize that the reason that this was a negative was the noise. Loud people in the hallway, even in evening hours. Doesn’t make for the most relaxing stay. The room itself was fine. Cleanliness could have been better. The bed was pretty comfortable, but they only give each person 2 small squarish pillows. Breakfast is not free. WiFi is limited to 1 device per room per day. We will be staying at another hotel next time we are in the area for the price, as this hotel only has the facade of a nice hotel, without the service to back it up.

A pleasant hotel to sleep in, helpful front desk reception staff. Room service is on demand only, which I found odd, so don’t forget to ask to have your room cleaned when you leave for the day. The big downside is dining at the hotel, both evening meal and morning options are limited with slow service. As there are dozens of alternatives nearby I’d recommend any of those instead as that’s what I did after my first couple of meals. Generally the room was spotless but I did find an old sock and dust under my bed’s mattress.

Awesome stay, spacious suite w/walk in shower. The only thing I recommend is another grab bar at the exit end of the shower near the towel rack. Would definitely stay again!

SEC weekend with family

We were greeted by Sharon upon check in. She took care of us right away. Very professional and polite. The room was clean and comfortable. I had a small personal issue and Tameco went above and beyond for my daughter. I’ll never forget her act of kindness. She made our check out and day that much smoother. I appreciate the front desk staff. They deserve recognition for representing Cambria so well!

The Hotel Great! The Restaurant, Not So Great.

It was great! The only issue was the food from the restaurant at the hotel. The burgers were overcooked and the fries were thin, hard, and also overcooked.

This hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It’s in a great location for shopping and visiting surrounding areas. The staff were so nice and checked in every day to see if we needed anything. We will stay here again.

The woman who checked us in was lovely. The man bartending that evening was very friendly and knowledgeable. The bed was comfortable and even though we were by the ice machine it was quiet. We would definitely stay here again.
