Just ten miles from Lake Almanor! Enjoy exclusive access to California's legendary Forest Lodge estate in Greenville. Located in the Plumas National Forest area, the Forest Lodge is a historic resort, hosting guests from as far back as 1917. The largest of the estates cabins - The Bunkhouse - has been newly renovated in 2025 to once again welcome families and make memories.

Experience the clarity of mind and body recharging in our spectacular secluded spaces. Our common areas feature outdoor seating with grills, hammocks, fishing in our pond, tennis and pickleball court with basketball hoop, and deck lounging.

This large home was originally the restaurant for the historic Forest Lodge Resort when the property was active through the 1920's-1960's. Over time it was renovated into a home for the caretakers of the property and further renovated for their children into what we now affectionately call the “Bunk House”. The beautiful rustic exterior features a large wrap-around porch and landscaped grass yard, free flowing to the great outdoors. The interior has been thoughtfully updated honoring the remaining historical elements while modernizing all the creature comforts you desire for a serene getaway.
