It may have been a great experience if we got to stay here. Before I made my reservation, i called Barsala and asked if their hotel in Greenville SC has an elevator and I was told I that there is. The reason I asked is because my husband is disabled. On our way to the hotel I was told that our unit will be on the 2nd flr with instructions to climb a flight of stairs. I messaged the concierge and asked them if they have an elevator and told them my husband cannot climb stairs and is disabled. The response did not come quickly and when it did, it was short and cryptic. “Unfortunately no elevator please cancel thru Expedia.” We had to look for another place at the last minute. I did contact their call center and told them about this debacle. Fortunately they were more sympathetic and apologetic and we were told that they would be willing to give us a refund. On a normal situation this would not have been an issue but when someone has a disability, their response seemed like a big snub.
