A lovely place to stay but watch out for the hidden costs

This property was very clean, well equipped ( but no wardrobe in ensuite room), the view over the harbour from the lounge/dining area was just perfect for relaxing. Very nice restaurants all along the harbour,shops and town all within walking distance. Do check the layout, the bedrooms are all accessed through the double bedroom and the en suit double is accessed across the out side patio area, Just a few minor problems, the phone number we were given didn't work from an English mobil, It was not made clear we had to pay a 200 euro deposit on arrival, we would have done this by credit card before we left, or taken more euros to cover the cost, we had to pay extra for electric and water, (we were not given the readings or a receipt), we were not told it would be 75 euros to clean the apartment or do it yourself, or 65 euros for the bedding and towels, ( this fee was wavered when we were able to show the homeaway website that said it was provided)

L'appartement est idéalement situé, face au port, près de la ville haute et centre ville, près des restaurants. Place de parking face à l'appartement (du moins en saison basse). Deux choses qu'il faut réaliser concernant l'appartement, l'un est l'accès des chambres se faisant en traversant la chambre principale, l'autre étant la nuisance d'odeurs de cuisine due à la bouche d'aération du restaurant situé en dessous de l'appartement mal orientée. Le propriétaire a fait la demande de modification. Granville est très agréable, et à ne pas manquer: escapade à la journée sur les îles Chausey, et traversée du mont st michel avec guide. Très chouettes expériences.

A very pleasant stay

We were looking for a nice apartment overlooking the harbor and the tide and restaurants near by. This is exactly what we found. We enjoyed a very relaxing week in Granville. Expect to hear some happy conversations from the nice restaurant nextdoor when you open the windows. Also the terrace in the back is near the restaurants‘ ventilation. All in all a nice place to stay. The pictures of the apartment fit perfect to reality.

Schöne Wohnung mit Hafenblick

Unser Aufenthalt in Granville war sehr schön. Die Wohnung liegt sehr gut und ist originell geschnitten. Es war sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Auf der Terrasse riecht man abends leider den Abzug des Lokals im Nebenhaus. Dafür können die Vermieter aber natürlich nichts und ansonsten war auch alles schön. Kleine Bitte: das Hochbett sollte aus Sicherheitsgründen dringend an der Wand befestigt werden! Es wackelt doch sehr bei zwei Kindern. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr saubere und individuell geschnittene Wohnung mit einem wirklich tollen Ausblick auf das Hafenbecken , was durch den Gezeitenwechsel besonders interessant ist. Viel Platz und Schlafmöglichkeiten, die Küche ist sehr gut mit Allem ausgestattet, die gesamte Wohnung wurde sehr sauber übergeben. Die Wohnung ist ruhig und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, man kann fussläufig einige Restaurant´s erreichen. Kurzum ein toller Urlaub zu dem die Unterkunft wesentlich beigetragen hat. Lejligheden levede helt op til vores forventninger. Beliggenheden kan ikke blive bedre i denne fantastiske ferieby, Granville. Alene udsigten fra stuen er helt ubeskrivelig. Super som udgangspunkt til besøg i Normandiet.

Wir haben den Urlaub in der liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnung im Hafen von Granville sehr genossen. Die Lage ist absolut top und wir kommen auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder, da wir Granville ohnehin in unser Herz geschlossen haben.
