Our stay was pleasant. Home was clean and good for the 5 of us. It would be tight with more. The wifi requires you to log in and limits your usage to 1 device. That is unacceptable when traveling with a family. The caretakers were helpful and the entire stay was smooth. One important note that was not disclosed until after reserving is that sheets and towels are NOT included. The caretakers will provide some for 10euro/bed and 2euro/towel (cash). Not a big deal as long as you know up front. The location is secure and walkable to town/restaurants/beach. A great place for us to visit the D-day beaches from.

Perfect!
We have stayed in France many times before but we’re pleasantly surprised to fund this little gem. The chalet has everything you could need, down to cleaning materials and is on a small, quiet site just 5-10 minutes walk to the harbour. The chalet has 3 bedrooms and a lovely Covered decking area for eating al fresco. There is also a decent sized garden, where we played badminton. It was suitably surrounded with enough foliage that our dog could be left to roam too. The local harbour has a plethora of seafood restaurants and bars, as well as pizza places and Boulanger. The nearest supermarket is a 5 minute drive of 15 minute walk. The beach has shells and pebbles, as would be expected of this coastline, but is pleasant enough to sit on, especially on a hot day, when it provides a lovely breeze. The local D-Day museums, graveyards and the battery are all very close. There is a local street market within a short drive for every day if the week and in The harbour 2-3 times a week including Sunday evening and a daily fresh fish and seafood market. Love this place. Would highly recommend.

Well equipped and comfy little chalet
Mr Champion kindly allowed us to stay Sunday to Sunday because of the starting date at our 2nd property. Check in was a little tricky as Mrs Yver the keyholder does not speak English. She did bring her daughter who spoke some English, so with my broken French, we were able to get by and they were very kind and polite. The property has everything you need and is well equipped with cutlery, utensils, dishwasher (take some tablets with you) and washing machine. we enjoyed our stay. Location wise, it's near to all the D-Day beaches. There's a small Carrefour within walking distance but the beach isn't nice and is smelly with mud and seaweed. There are some very nice beaches nearby, especially at Omaha and Utah. The pool was nice and warm but can get busy as is fairly small. The park itself is nice and quiet. Would recommend
