While we had a nice time and everything went smooth on our visit, I recommend getting insurance and taking photos of everything. They will try and accuse you of damages, even if you didn't. So document everything once you get in and leave for your peace of mind. And I mean everything.

We had a great weekend staying here! The views are amazing, the hot tub was relaxing, and the location was great for access to multiple days activities and hikes, the town of Grand Lake, and the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The proximity to the road did not change our enjoyment at all.

The view was absolutely amazing, but the road was so loud we did not spend time on the deck and needed to keep the windows closed.The recent renovations were done really well, however the bedroom in the basement does not have a door (it has a curtain). Also, it was a bit cramped for 4 people upstairs to share a bathroom with one sink. Nice house overall, but a little cramped and a bit loud.
