The entrances to the building were very dirty. The stairs and entry once in were dirty and in the same condition the next morning. The outside doors should be by key card for safety. Internet photos were deceiving

Holding On To Greatness

We were visiting Grand Forks during winter for a UND hockey game from Texas, so the first night was one of adjustment As we walked in the lobby area was welcoming, showing a little age but WARM. Check in was quick because of pre check in which was nice. Upon entering our poolside room, we were hit with a heat wave and were unable to locate a thermostat. There was a wall mounted AC unit so we turned it on and cooled off the room however it was very noisy. We turned it off to sleep and it turned on by itself and blew heat on us so we had to turn the noisy AC back on. The pool area as the rest of the hotel is showing some wear and tear but was still very enjoyable. The breakfast was great with a good variety and was resupplied often with a great selection of tea. We would stay here again and might even try to bring a group of college friends to have a little reunion.

The pool has water from the hot tub overflow so its warm and make sure you get towels before you get in because you might not have one when you get out. Its in a good location everything you need is nearby and i didn't hear anything through the walls definitely a nice place to do a family event.

Would stay here again

Took my family for an overnight here. We got a poolside room and it was nice to have easy access to the pool area and tables outside of the fenced in pool area whoch makes it safer for little ones. The room didnt stink like chlorine like most poolside rooms do or get humid. Breakfast was a nice spread. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Not a horrible place to stay. Definitely have stayed in some questionable hotels in the past. The biggest issue and it was not even an issue, was it was out dated. Beds were clean and comfortable. The pool and area was clean and warm. Breakfast was good and had decent options. The staff was very helpful! Over all a good place to stay that won't break the pocketbook!

Theres no point in checking in online ahead of time. You have to fill out all the infor again as soon as you get there, so it saves no time. The front desk person was nice though. Water was ice cold no matter what you did. There was an issue with the toilet flushing as soon as we got there. However, maintenance was quick to respond to the toilet issue, which was greatly appreciated. There was also a massive air leak through the window & AC unit. Not sure how much the air control actually worked on the floor vent for changing the heat in the room. Overall, it met the need of a place to sleep. Which was really all we needed since it was for a hockey game. Other than that, it wasn't anything fancy or comfortable.

Overall we had a good time but there were a few issues that could have been dealt with. Our bathroom floor and wall had hair and blood on it. Everything in the room was quite beat up and dusty. One incident of note was people still hanging out by the pool after it closed at midnight. They were very loud and when I asked the staff if they could ask them to go, I was told “they aren’t even that loud”.

This hotel was like staying at a Holiday Inn Express you ordered off Wish. Front desk reception was pleasant. Room was ok. I didnt like that once you walked into the room there was no light switch so I had to walk across the dark room to turn a light on. The room was clean but dingy. The bathroom tub was kinda gross with stains and rust around the rods. Little soaps were included but not sure how long they’ve been sitting there. The room was warm and the ac wouldn’t cool it down because the wall heat was running all night. My room was facing the highway, so a lot of traffic noise as to be expected. The bar was a joke. I walked in there at 6pm to order a pizza which is all they serve. As I walked in I was the only one in there, the bartender looked at me mid convo with her barkeep and kept talking to him. After a few minutes and once she was done with her conversation, I ordered a drink, which the coke machine was pouring syrup so I got a jack and syrup. They cleaned it out while my pizza was cooking. Soda machine was down, I wasn’t charged for my drink which was nice. Finally got my pizza 30 minutes later. Bring food if you’re hungry. Checked out the workout room and the nicest treadmill was broken. Op-ed for the standard which I was happy for. All in all, It’s seems more for the hardworking rough guys who need a place to stay.
