we booked this hotel because of the hot tub. I have been having issues with my back called hotel before we booked said it worked. jets hardly worked and not hot at all lukewarm if that so disappointed. Then breakfast got some cereal asked for milk they were out. decided to get some OJ it was out as well. for the amount of money spent on two nights it would have been nice to have somethings in stock and actually working.

The biggest problem is we have stayed there numerous times over the last three years and at the beginning it was beautiful. Now, the pool has leaves and floating trash in it, the hot tub still doesn’t work (it used to) and smells funny, the shower in our room smelled moldy and most of the carpets are torn in places making some trip hazards for those of us with some mobility issues. The prices for the rooms are to high for the issues on the property - this has become closer to a motel not a hotel.

Staff attitudes are laughable and rude. Amenities are either off or the staff has no idea how to operate them. Lights flicker, paint is falling off the walls and ceiling. Landscaping has not been maintained in quite some time.

They had a nice breakfast set up. The lobby area was very welcoming. The room was nice and clean, however it smelled a little musty. We will stay there again.

Horrible Service

We were supposed to have a double Queen room. Were told it was overbooked and all that was available was a king with a pull out sofa bed. The sofa bed was uncomfortable and not enough blankets. Room was not clean and staff was unwilling to help. Changed rooms the next day to a double and the remote to tv didn’t work. We went to the front desk 5 times for assistance and the attitude was horrible by the staff and they would not help at all. We usually select Hampton due to consistency. They’re usually clean, service is great and we know what to expect. This is the second time we’ve stayed at this Hampton and both times were extremely disappointing. We will NOT give this Hampton our business again.

spilled makeup unnoticed

Staff was kind and pleasant. Makeup was found on our bedding and they immediately replaced it and gave us some water/snack for the inconvenience. Surrounding area was nice.

Yuck!

A/C would not work. Stayed a constant 78 degrees in our room. Front desk came to look at it, she turned the T-Stat to 62, which I did as well. Still did not come on. She tried to tell me that it would kick on after she did the exact same thing I did. Never resolved! The exhaust fan in the bathroom had about 2 inches of filth on it, blood on the drapery and walls. And to finish it off, I had to kill 2 roaches in our room. Not a great experience!

Hotel was ok. Staff was awesome. Great service. Hotwl itself seems to need some renovations as it is a little worn down which is unlike other Hampton's I've stayed at. Overall, would stay again.
