Our family booked Ocean Waves for a ten day escape from winter vacation. It was absolutely perfect for all four of us, myself, my husband, our infant daughter, and my mother. We had stunning views of the ocean from the living room and patio. The beautiful pink sand beach was a 2 minute walk down the hill. My husband went out kitesurfing on several occasions while baby and I were able watch him from the comfort of our living room. Governors harbor was a 5 minute drive away and offered many excellent restaurants to choose from. Simple but necessary things like beach chairs, parasols, and more were provided at the house. We had a wonderful time, we loved our accommodations, we would book it again and we would recommend it to anyone.

Ocean Waves was comfortable and clean with stunning views, and the location was excellent. We enjoyed the garden, the gazebo, and the private access to the beautiful beach. A perfect, peaceful, relaxing stay for our family. We will be back.

Our stay at Ocean Waves was beautiful. The house was immaculate and spacious with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and great room. All of the rooms have a fantastic view of the ocean. The back patio runs the full length of the house and has / 2 comfy lounge chairs, 4 more chairs and 2 tables. The view was spectacular ! Great for watching sun rises and moon rises. A short walk down the hill and you run into the gazebo with a large picnic table and benches. A few steps down and you are on the beautiful white sandy beach. The ocean is the last stop with a soft , sandy bottom. The house has everything you need including a fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner , lotion and many other incidentals. The garage has beach chairs, a raft , umbrellas and a large cooler. This house has everything you need and then some. The owner is extremely helpful and is there to assist with all your needs. We had trouble with the WiFi and she went out a bought us a new hotspot. The location of Ocean Waves is centrally located and is close to restaurants and stores in Govenors Harbor. The landscaping is absolutely beautiful and really adds to the beauty of the house. We highly recommend a vacation at Ocean Waves. I have stayed in a few different places in Eleuthera and it was definitely the best. Thank you for everything Lachelle!!

We loved our stay at Ocean Waves. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for 4 of us. The kitchen was well-equipped. The property manager was very responsive when we had questions, both before and during our stay. Definitely recommended!! One tip - we found several places that only took cash. There are ATMs if you run short. Also, don’t miss the fish fry if you’re there on a Friday night!

Ocean Waves

This was our 3rd visit and it was wonderful as our previous two stays. Ocean Waves feels like home away from home, we love everything about it: the beautiful view, gorgeous beach, peace and quiet, friendly, helpful, responsive host, and various amenities including a lovely patio, an outdoor shower, lightweight beach chairs, and snorkeling equipment, to name a few. The house has good air flow - we kept the windows open for the cross breeze and never needed the AC. Can't wait to come back next year!

Beautiful home

This is our second three-week stay at Ocean Waves, which was wonderful once again. We keep returning because the house has everything we need and Lachelle is an excellent host. It’s a 3-minute walk to a near-empty beach on the Atlantic side, a 7-minute drive to a beautiful beach on the Caribbean side, and only a short drive to the restaurants and supplies in Governor’s Harbour. Highly recommended!

Excellent Stay at Ocean Waves

Just got back from 10 days at Ocean Waves...and already looking ahead to plan our return trip!If anything, the pictures don't do it justice...the view of the water is great, and you have a private access path to the beach, so it's just a minute walk down the hill. The beach is amazing...the most people we saw on it at one time was less than 10, and great for long walks any time of day.Pascal's restaurant is a 5 minute walk down a semi-private road, and provides a great menu to choose from...we ate there 3 times. The house is situated about a 5-6 minute drive into Governor's Harbour, giving access to several other amazing places to eat...we thoroughly enjoyed the Buccaneer Club, Tippy's, and had amazing meals at Bougainvillea and The French Leave. If you would rather stay in and cook (as food prices on the island are very high), there is a good grocery store in Governor's Harbour, Jimmy's Liquor store has a great selection of beer, wine and spirits, and Island Farm is only about a 15 minute drive, where you can source fresh produce and other things (we actually got a fresh lasagna there one day)...highly recommended to check it out.The host, Lachelle, is amazing at responding to questions...usually within an hour, and we felt we were well taken care of!Definitely need a rental car...we used Bruno's at Lachelle's recommendation and it worked out great.Looking forward to going back!

Amazing Place

Oceanwaves is an absolute gem. The house itself is in a great location overlooking the sea with amazing views. There is everything you will need in this house to enjoy some total rest and relaxation as it is very well equipped in all areas including the kitchen and outside areas. The beach is a short stroll away and you can walk on the beach for a long time without seeing many people if anyone at all. There are several restaurants nearby that serve good food and lovely cocktails if you don't feel like cooking ! We had an amazing time at Oceanwaves and cannot praise the host Lachelle enough for her communication and positive vibes. Nothing was too much trouble and we would thoroughly recommend this house and host to anyone looking for a fantastic venue for a relaxing vacation in idyllic surroundings.

vacation of a lifetime!

We loved staying in Gov. Harbour with Lachelle as our host we were so well taken care of!!!! The house is clean big and more beautiful than the pics on line. I gave a 4 for the neighborhood due to bumpy road lol. Lachelle was open to communication and even gave me a gift for changing jobs! So so kind! Will definitely be back

Anniversary trip

Pictures do not do it justice! This home was gorgeous inside and out. The views are breathtaking. Laschelle was amazing. She was available via text/phone call whenever we needed her. The house had every amenity you need plus many extras. A short easy walk to Paschals with great food and wonderful bar tender (Sammy). If you visit Eleuthera we recommend Ocean Waves hands down! Thank you for an amazing vacation!

Amazing Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Waves. It is well stocked with everything that you need. The beach access is beautiful with great snorkeling. It’s close to the stores and restaurants in Governors Harbor which is a plus. Lachelle is a wonderful host. She is very accommodating and was very responsive to all of our questions and needs. We definitely will return to Ocean Waves.

The house is amazing with the most beautiful views of the ocean and the sunrise! Very clean and well stocked with anything you might need. Lachelle is a wonderful host and really makes you feel at home. She answered all of my many questions promptly no matter what time of day. Absolutely wonderful experience and hope to be back!

A gorgeous home away from home

We loved our three-week stay. Lachelle is a gracious host, responsive and welcoming. (A delicious apple pie made by her cousin was waiting for us when we arrived.) The comfy, clean house has an ocean view from every room and is a three-minute walk to a beach where we rarely saw more than one other couple. There is wonderful cross ventilation inside, thanks to large sliding glass screened doors in the living room and bedrooms and windows in every room. Outside are comfy chairs and lounges, some of which get afternoon shade. The kitchen is fully equipped, and if anything needed fixing, Jason attended to it right away. The restaurants and grocery stores in Governor’s Harbour are only a 10-minute drive away. The vibe here is so civilized--calm and relaxing. We can’t wait to return.

Ocean Waves

Ocean Waves is a gem! We love staying here and had a wonderful time on our second visit - would've stayed longer if we could have. The house is nicely outfitted with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable living room and bedrooms, and just about everything you need for the beach. The view is stunning, whatever the weather. The owner is helpful, responsive and a pleasure to deal with - though we've never met in person, it feels like we're friends. Already looking forward to returning next year. Thank you!! ❤️

Beautiful and restful vacation

Can't say enough good things about our stay. The ambiance of this ocean side home was just the thing we needed for the 2+ weeks we stayed at Ocean Waves. Comfortable accommodations, well appointed kitchen, beautiful windows to enjoy the beauty of the location, wonderful outdoor chairs and tables to be outside, and a great host who answered all our questions promptly.
