Terre et Lumieres is a wonderful property. The house is spacious and very well equipped, the pool is great for a refreshing dip or to swim a few lengths. For us, the highlight of the property is the wonderful grounds, which are tastefully lit up at night, and which feature a separate “summer kitchen”. We hope to visit again soon!

I read this reviews to ensure that my investment and choice for my family’s vacation will be a good one. You shouldn’t have a single reservation about booking this gorgeous home. It exceeded our expectations in every way. It is comfortable and spacious - allowing two families with different aged children to have their space, but to come together when we wanted. The grounds, the pool and the home are magical. The team that met us were warm, generous, accommodating and responsive answering our random questions (restaurants, shops, markets) almost immediately. I truly couldn’t have asked for more. The home is also perfectly situated to visit many of the towns that make Provence an incredible destination. It is also a 7 min drive to an incredible bakery Patisserie Lyse. Seriously, don’t hesitate. You won’t regret it.

A beautiful, well-appointed home in a tranquil setting. The home, accommodations, and grounds are superb as are the property manager (Pauline) and staff. They made us feel extremely welcome and were responsive and knowledgeable in addressing all of our needs.. The home is well situated to support visits to local wineries, olive groves, and the hill towns of Provence. My family and I have visited numerous locations in both the U.S. and Europe and rank this property as one of the very best. I fully endorse this property, its owner, and management team. If you're looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting this property is a great selection.

We stayed three weeks at "Terre et Lumiere" and had the most wonderful family time. The house is so pleasant to be in, well equipped for cooking and very spacious. At one point we were eight of us and didn't feel crowded. The house is elegantly decorated and the garden is a delight. So many different places to sit and enjoy the light and the birds. The outdoor kitchen is spectacular with superb lighting at night. A big thank you to Pauline and Madelyn who were so responsive to our needs. We recommend "Terre et Lumiere" to whoever wants to discover the Luberon and return to such a peaceful place.

Stay in September
The house is great. Architecture very impressive and all details thought about carefully. Pool very good and outdoor sitting dining very good. My only small issue would be that the dining table inside is enormous - seating more than the house can sleep. We didn't need to use it as we could eat outside in early September it but it would be hard to make it work well for a snaller group as it is so wide.
Dominique (propert manager) was very patient and helpful with our Covid testing queries but some of the email exchange about chef arrangements went a bit awry. I'm sure she is very busy and I know we were asking for lots of things! Very nice meet and greet though. Nadia cooked us a lovely anniversary dinner.
For such a classy property I think more could be done to make pre-arrival shopping and first night meal a standard option so users don't have to worry on their first day. It felt a bit like we were trying to sort this out for the first time.
Overall very nice stay. Thank you.

Wonderful week in Gordes
An amazing property, absolutely perfect inside and out for 2 families of 4. Pool house was a real bonus and gave my teenage daughter a bit of space for herself. The outdoor kitchen and gardens are really special and lift it above your average holiday home. The location is great with plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. As a keen road cyclist there is some fantastic cycling on your door step including Ventoux. Most importantly Patrick was incredibly flexible in the lead up with all the uncertainty caused by Covid and while we were there Dominique answered all our questions and made things very straightforward.

Family Holiday
We had the most wonderful time staying in this property which is located within a few miles of Gordes (close enough that you can see Gordes up on the hill in the distance from the property). The property is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is beautifully furnished and very well maintained. A lot of thought has clearly gone in to designing the property and the beautiful gardens (including its own lavender field and olive grove) which our two young children (9 and 7) really enjoyed exploring. We also loved the fact that you can see the pool from almost everywhere in the villa making it very handy when you need to keep an eye on children in the pool.
Remy and Caroline, the property managers, were also wonderful. Very friendly and quick to deal with any questions or issues we had, as well as great at recommending some fun things for us to do as a family in the local area. We have stayed in some lovely villas over the years and this ranks among the very best of them. We would be delighted to have the opportunity to return again at some point in the future.

Wow! Just WOW!!
Our group of three families visited Villa Lumiere in July 2019 and it exceeded our expectations in every way! It's spacious and tastefully decorated with custom furniture & art. The location was ideal; close to Bonnieux, Gordes, Lourmarin, LaCoste, and L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. There are numerous restaurants and wineries within a short drive and the town of Les Imberts is walkable and quaint.
The modern bedrooms all have very comfortable beds, linens, and pillows. Each has a lovely en suite bathroom with plush towels, and great AC units. We were very thankful for the AC units working so well as our visit was in the midst of a heatwave!
The property is gated and just inside is a beautiful olive tree lined drive leading to a garden of lavender and other large trees and shrubs surrounding the villa and vineyards. There was even a small pond in the front with a giant frog! The pool area is spacious and there is plenty of seating and shade. The kids really loved the sunning shelf in the pool as well as running in the grassy yard and playing ping pong.
We enjoyed the services of two villa endorsed chefs during our stay; Frederic and Yvan. Both were outstanding! On nights we didn't have the chef we enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen. It's super well equipped with two sinks, two refrigerators, many modern appliances, plenty of silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. The washer & dryer both worked well!
We mostly self toured the area with the exception of one organized/chauffeured wine tour north near Avignon in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape region. Highly recommend the knowledgable Mike of Wine Safari. He shared his love of the region and wines in a fun and interesting way.
Leading up to our stay we had several interactions with the owner, Patrick, and the property managers, Remy & Caroline. All three of them were exceptionally helpful and prompt in their correspondence. We were greeted by Remy & Caroline when we arrived and they could not have been a more pleasant and friendly couple offering many wonderful suggestions for where to eat, shop, sightsee, etc. They are the kind of people with whom you'd like to sit down and chat with for hours over a nice glass of wine!
Our week at the Villa was simply superb in every way!

Quite simply the best.
Our stay at Villa Terre et Lumière this summer was quite simply the best.
We have been visiting Provence with our family and friends for the last 7 years and everything about this visit was fantastic. We have stayed in 5 different houses, and this was certainly the best.
The house itself is spacious, well thought out, practically designed, extremely comfortable, and we loved the mix of French and Asian art and furniture. Under floor cooling keeps the house comfortable and at a perfect temperature. The kitchen is well appointed with ample supplies of cutlery, crockery and cooking appliances, a joy for those who love cooking as we do.
The grounds are peaceful, well kept and extensive. Bamboo planting means that we were not even aware of nearby houses.
The managers Remy and Caroline were a godsend. Personable, kind, considerate, enthusiastic and able to sort any problem quickly and very efficiently.
We love this area and have stayed many times, but this really was our favourite, thank you!

The Perfect, Dreamy Holiday in Vaucluse-Luberon
We are a family of 4 plus two friends visiting the Luberon area in August. When I saw villa Lumiere from HomeAway I was in love with it, thank goodness I booked early! The owner Patrick is super friendly and quick to respond. Caroline and Remy, the loveliest couple who manages the villa was so prompt in communication and so helpful with infos that it puts all our previous experiences to shame!
What can I say?! Villa Lumiere had exceeded all our expectations even though we had the highest to begin with! It is situated at the perfect location, making visits to surrounding towns like Roussillon, Menerbes, Bonnieux, and Goult a breeze. Fontaine de Vaucluse and L'Isle-sur-le-Sorgue were some 30 minutes away.
Upon arrival we were greeted by the beautiful garden that surrounds the villa, once you enter the property, a sense of calm and relaxation sets in, beautiful plants and flowers infuse the air with perfumes, the little pond caught our sons' curiosities for days.
Caroline and Remy were so patient, we were late due to traffic and they waited patiently for us. The villa is kept at top condition, learning how to operate it was a breeze. They explained everything to us, there were cold beverages in the fridge, such dedication and kindness is rare!
The villa was spotless, beyond spacious and so tastefully done! We admired the exquisite statues and furniture from South East Asia, the soaring vaulted ceiling made the living area airy and majestic! The Bedrooms are comfy and spacious, our previous week was spent in a rustic ancient Chateau in the Carcassonne area, let me just say the fine linen and spotless modern bathrooms in Villa Lumiere offered great comfort! The master bedroom was simply divine, with abundance of closets, a sitting area, bright and spacious bathroom, it was luxurious! All bedrooms have direct access to either the garden or the pool.Oh the pool...sparkling under the sun, cooling and of a great size, with loungers to soak in the sun, and to be surrounded by the gorgeous garden, we had a hard time saying goodbye to it!
The Kitchen of Villa Lumiere was second to none compared to all the other villas that we had stayed, so well equipped with modern appliances, plenty of dinnerwares.
Thank you Caroline and Remy, our stay could not have been so perfect without your help and understanding, we are truly grateful! Your genuine kindness touched us deeply, thank you for everything! We cannot wait to visit Villa Lumiere soon, thank you!

A fabulous house in a beautiful area.
A home from home with every facility provided. Our family of 11, including 3 children were celebrating some major birthdays and anniversaries, and could not have asked for a better venue. The house, garden and pool were exceptional. Remy and Caroline, who look after the house for the owner could have not been more helpful, and nothing was too much trouble.

Fabulous house in beautiful Provence
Our travel group (2 grandparents, their daughter, and 3 grandchildren) narrowed the search to 8 properties in Provence. After much discussion - even the 8-year-old twins weighed in - we chose this property. And in so many ways, it exceeded all our expectations. Although the house is relatively new construction, it embraces all the design features we associate with Provencal architecture - use of local stone throughout - while offering all the modern conveniences. The pool and outdoor deck are extremely inviting. The late summer sunset allowed us to enjoy dinners together and take a final dip in the pool before retiring. Remy and Caroline were very helpful and made our visit the stress free week we'd hoped for. Day trips from this location are plentiful - from lunch in Gordes to canoeing on the Sorgue River. A Super U is minutes away, and many farm stands dot the local roads. A solid 11 out of 10 from all of us!
